Tusked Wolves • Tuskies
Nordic Tusked Wolfdogs also referred to as tusked wolves or tuskies, are a northern species of canine that naturally resides in the arctic and parts of Canada. After their domestication in the 1950's, they have become much more common in other regions around the world as working dogs and pets. Tuskies are distinguished from other canids by characteristic pair of tusk-like pertrusions that grow from their face. They also carry thick and heavy pelts which grow significantly longer around the neck and face. As an adult, tuskies grow to about the size of a grizzly bear.
Nordic Tusked wolfdogs may be found living in solitude, or in a pack of 4-8 in the wild . They are omniverous, however they require a significant amount of protien in their diet to maintain a healthy weight. In packs they may hunt large prey, such as deer, moose or even small bears in some cases. On their own they will stick to a diet of smaller prey such as fish, rabbits or large rodents.

• You may not buy or sell nordic tusked wolfdogs for any type of currency, virtual or real, or exchange a tuskie for other characters or goods. Tuskies may only be traded for other Tuskies.
• You may own up to 8 Nordic Tusked Wolfdogs, any of those 8 may be adopted regularly or be created as customs.
• You may not alter the design of an existing tuskie without proper permission or approval. Edits may only be minute and may not add new physical features.
• Tuskies may not be co owned.
• Nordic Tusked Wolfdogs may be your fursona with permission from the design artist.
• You may dress up your Tuskie with items, however you may not alter them physically beyond the characteristics below:

• You may not sell or auction Nordic Tusked Wolfdogs that you have designed for any kind of currency or other payment.
• You may commission other artists to design a Tuskie for you, however this should be clarified when the design is being approved.
• All Nordic Tusked Wolfdog designs must be approved before being revealed (they may be posted under a cover).
• When creating a custom Tuskie, you may edit certain features:• Colours and patterns
• Tusk length, shape, and number (they may have up to 2 sets of tusks, and must have at least one set).
• Fur length and shape (should always be long around face and neck)
• Tail length and shape.
• Ear shape.
• pupil shape.
•You may extend the mane into a backmane, hair or facial hair if desired.
