Opening on the 15th (NZ time)
It's that time of year again; that crisp, candy-filled spooky season. Golden leaves are falling and crunching underfoot. Houses have been decorated with cobwebs and cauldrons. Children are busy creating their costumes, while adults are stocking up on sweets for their doorstep guests.
Perhaps what is most odd about this specific time of year is that, in rural towns, there are more frequent Bush Hound sightings. Usually they avoid buildings and human interaction, but during the Halloween season, their natural curiosity seems to draw them closer. Sometimes they are spotted in backyards at night, snuffling around the interesting decorations. Other times they may hover on the edge of town, watching from the trees, unafraid and intrigued. Some are wary about the costumes children run about it on Halloween night, while some seem to find it almost amusing. Locals, of course, are advised not to feed nor approach these feral animals. They leave each other alone, regarding one another from a safe distance with mutual respect.
