Llŷr was given his name after he was found washed up on the shore at a young age. Having no memory of who he was or where he came from, the elder of a nearby villliage began to fondly refer to him as Llŷr, it's meaning fittingly being "of the sea".

He woke up rather confused that day, not knowing what he had seen. All other crew members heard him talking about a winded angel who came like a waterfall of peace. Whom was named Assan, now a tail of sailors.

name history;; similar to tomtes but not quite, a domovoi is a protective house spirit in Slavic folklore. Traditionally, every house has its own domovoi who lives in the house and is seen as the home's guardian. If he is kept happy he maintains peace and order and rewards the household by helping with household chores. If angered, the domovoi acts in a way resembling a poltergeist but is rarely harmful besides occasionally pinching the family in their sleep. If he's irretrievably offended he abandons the family. So pretty much a domovoi is like the guardian of a family and somehow this sheer just really gave me that sort of vibe.
