Overview
- Forests all around the world have been tortured by the gypsy moth who eludes all predators with it's unappealing appearance and taste. Scientists have searched for a solution to this problem for decades, but with no known predators, there seemed to be no way to regulate the moth's attacks. However, after much research, scientists have developed a prototype of the perfect predator for the job. A mix of carnivorous bat DNA, and omnivorous possum DNA has lead to the Pleobe, a predator who feeds only on the gypsy moth and other invasive creatures. It's possum-like qualities allow it to be prey for larger species, insuring that it's population won't spike out of control once it destroys the moth infestation. After more research on the species, it's been discovered that Pleobes are also able to be domesticated an kept as pets. Several people from across the globe have been selected to care for domesticated Pleobes. Will you be one of the lucky ones?
- - Adult Pleobe's reach a maximum standing height of 4 feet, although some have been known to exceed this limit.
- Some Pleobe's have been selectively bred to have shorter tails, but this is rare
- All Pleobe's carry with them a collection of several belongings. Separation from these items creates extreme anxiety
- Pleobe's communicate similarly to bats and can use echolocation to find their prey.
- Pleobe's, like bears, can stand and walk on two legs.
- When domesticated, Pleobe's typically wear clothes.
- Pleobe's can come with bat wings or horns, but these are rare modifications
