Believe it or not, his book is written by the same author as Pipi Longstocking(Thought when you read it, its a completely different concept.). "Lionheart," is more of a title than a name, it was given to brave warriors who proved themselves worthy for it. The whole book is a sweet(and at a few points sad) book about two brothers that are killed on separate occasions and travel to a type of medieval heaven. Near the end of the book, the oldest brother takes on a dragon/serpent named Karm. What happens after I won't say. This is my favorite book.

it's not about dragons, but its an absolutely wonderful collection of books called the Lynburn Legacy series.
There are a bunch of books, including prologues and books from another character's point of view. The main plot is quite intriguing. You can read more about it here, directly from the authors website! But here, I'll say a little bit now.
Our heroine is named Kami Glass. Ever since she was a little girl, Kami has had a voice in her head. An imaginary who she shares her hopes, dreams, problems and successes with, and he does the same with her. As she went to school one day, there was talk of a new, rough and tough badboy-type new kid. She kept her distance for the most part, but when she bumps into him in an elevator, her whole world comes crashing down. Not only is the voice in her head a real boy, but he was standing right in front of her. but wait, there's more- he's a Lynburn.
I won't say much more, to keep the story alive c;

fantasty book: Apart from the Inheritance Cycle, which a few people have already suggested, the Trial of Blood and Steel series by Joel Shepherd is really worth a read. The books are Sasha, Tracato, Petrador, and Haven. The series is a little hard to get into at first because Shepherd writes with a lot of detail, especially with the first few chapters, but if you keep going it's so worth it :)

and yes, I have read the Inheritance Cycle (quite a few times xD) but at the moment I'm looking for new books to read. and this one looks very interesting :D
