After eating quite a few chrackers, I take a few more sips of my water and lean back into the couch. After a few minutes my eyes begin to droop againand I slowly nod off to sleep. As I sleep, my head slowly slides down to were its resting on Johns shoulder.

James saw Fabian nod of to sleep, he put his finger to his mouth to make a shushing motion, he looked at John and put his arms out in a scooping motion, "John," He whispered, "Lets pick her up and move her to the guest bedroom, she can sleep more comfertably in the bed in there."

Ally met Adam halfway. "You ready to keep going?" Se figured once they got inside the woods they would have trouble retracing their steps so they'd better make sure they had everything.

Lorena combed her hair out with her fingers and wetted it down with some water. She also found a hair tie and pulled it back into a ponytail. "That'll work." She went back out to the living room and replaced her bow on her back and picked up the gun. "Should we get going soon?"

Adam nodded, "Yeah, the lake is on the other side of the forest..." He thought a moment, "but... we might have a little trouble getting in with out a key..." He looked a Maria who still had wet tears on her cheecks.

Gregory stood up, "Yeah, I wonder if James made it to the house yet?" He said as put his shoes on and walked over to the kitchen sink, he set down the coffe cup and turned the sink on wetting his face.

"What do you mean? Is there a gate or a barrier on the other side?" Ally asked, hoping that if there was there might be people there to let them in.

"We'll there's only one way to find out!" Lorena slipped on her other shoe that had fallen off in the night and waited for Gregory. "If he did, he'd wait for us right? And even if he didn't, he doesn't seem like someone that would hang around a dangerous place. He should be fine."

Adam sighed, "Well theres a gate on the othe side to prevent people from stealing boats." He pulled the brown beanie off his head and ran his fingers through his hair, "My dad kept a key on his keychain... but he took it with him on his business trip." he took a couple stepsforward and put his hands on his hips, "You know what, lets just keep going and maybe we can find a way around the fence." He hoped they would be able to find a way, if not they would have to think of another plan.

Gregory wiped the axcess watter off his face with his shirt, "Im sure he'd wait for us, hes a smart kid." he walked over to the window and peered out, there didnt seem to be very many infected outside.

"Ok." Ally agreed and followed Adam's lead. There had to be a way around the fence or through it. If not, they could make one. Ally started walking towards the woods keeping an eye on Maria and how she was doing.

Lorena cracked the front door slightly and peered outside. There weren't very many infected, and if they were quiet enough they would be able to sneak past. She didn't know if Gregory could be as quiet as required but he'd done pretty well so far. She stepped outside and started slowly towards the street. Turning she whispered to Gregory, "you'll have to lead...I have no idea where we're going."

Adam walked quietly through the woods untill the reached the fence, there were a couple of birds sitting on the top of the fence, thier eyes looked red with infection. One of the birds noticed them and flw at them really fast, Adam quickly took his baseball bat and swung as hard as he could. The blood splatered everywhere, thank goodness Adam had been on the baseball team.

Gregory followed Lorena out the door and tried to be as quiet as possible, he focused on the infected in the street and didnt notice the one on the side of the house comming up behind him. He let out a short scream as the infected grabbed his arm, he punched it in the face and fell back. The infected crawled over to Gregory as he pulled out his pocket knife, it grabbed his leg and tried to bite down, quickly Gregory stabbed it in the eye. Thinking he escaped almost being bitten he went to stand up but hadent noticed the infected with no leggs crawling towards him. He leaned on his hands and screamed in agony, when he looked down he saw the infected with no legs, it had taken a chunk clean out of his hand!

Maria stood behind the Adam. She stayed quiet as the made their way to the gate. Seeing they had made it she saw the birds. They seemed angry and lost. She jumped as it came towards them. As the blood splattered she just looked down trying not to think about it. Resting her head on Adams back she took a deep breath and looked back up at the fence. "Can we climb?" She asked.

Adam sighed, "I dont know, maybe theres a hole in the fence some where." He looked around at all the birds, "I think it be best if we kept looking, climbing the fence would only attract more birds."
