A Whelkon is an old, rare and a quite undiscovered species that seems to resemble a wolf, an elk and a dragon.
With it's long, hooved legs, strong majestic antlers and a wise wolve's head, they seem the ultimate ancient creatures.
Roaming our lands, trying to survive each day and hoping they won't get discovered by the greedy human hands.

▪ There are NO Customs, and there (probably) never will be. ▪

A design that is up for adoption will have a gold 'Adopt me' sign next to it.
Each design will have a different form with special requirements in the post with the design. Not here.

Although the base of the form will mostly be the same.
You will have to simply write a story, history, or draw a picture in most cases.

▪ You can try out for up to 3 Whelkon at a time, no more c:

▪ You may own 5 Adopted whelkon. Gifted and bred whelkon are not included in this limit.

▪ The amount of things needed depends on the rarity and detail of the Whelkon. ▪

An owner will be picked when a fair amount of quality forms has been recieved.


▪ ▫ ▪ ▫Important Info and Rules▪ ▫ ▪ ▫

▪ I do not need artists or mods right now.. ▪

▪ No copying the concept/idea/design in any way.
▪ 5 Adopted Whelkon per person for the time being.
▪ You can try out for up to 3 Whelkon at a time, no more. All of the forms will be ignored if you break this rule.
▪ You are NOT allowed to create/invent/draw your own Whelkon. Meaning, no new designs. That includes suggestions.
▪ You ARE allowed to make and order as much art as you like of the Whelkon you have adopted here. No changing markings or adding anything though.
▪ You are NOT allowed to change the species after you have adopted an AWE. For example, lets say you adopt an AWE from here and then want to make it a character of yours, but you want it to be a normal fox instead, but to keep the design... That is NOT allowed. It just makes this whole species pointless.
▪ Follow all art/art theft rules.
▪ Do NOT add any silly made up headings to the forms when adopting or breeding that were not put there in teh first place. (Example: Likes, Fave food, love interest etc =.=) But feel free to things like poems, art and short stories for extra credit.
▪ NO mini-modding.
▪ Just be friendly and enjoy yourself :B

▪ If you break any of these rules you will be taken away the right to ever adopt a Whelkon, and if you already have, the design will go right back to me. Gotit? ▪

Whelkon only ever have a single offspring at a time.
A Whelkan will only ever have up to 3 offspring in her lifetime.
The offspring is called a Welk.
(Read official thread for more info.)

▪ Breeding is not allowed outside this thread. Hence, not being allowed to invent your own designs.
I will do breedings here.

The owner of the male usualy keeps the offspring.
So only suggest breeding to another person who owns a female Whelkon if they are willing to give you the offspring.
In very rare cases the female will keep the offspring, but this also has to be done with my permission.

Both owners have to fill out the form, and the person who is keeping the Welk will have to pay the breeding fee.
