I was going to draw something else, but i ended up with this ;P
First of all - No, the leg isn't wrong! XD They sit/lay in a different way, and they're not canines, felines, nor anything like these, but they seem like canines a little.
A little about them:
They don't have elements nor anything like that, just some extra abilities. They have a great vision (the females only, because males have no eye), are really, really quick when it comes to fleeing, but they are usually very aggressive. They don't live in any other world nor anything like that, they live in real Earth. Their colors varies according to the climate of the place they live. They were supposed to be extinct, but when the last one was about to die, scientists wanted to study them and accidentally brought it to life again, and cloned it. If you take care of one of these since it was a baby, it will be loyal to you but only to you, and will try to protect you from anything it thinks it's dangerous.
They don't live in clans, they don't mate for life, but they are usually found in groups of three or four. The females are a bit taller than the males (only a little bit), whereas the male is fluffier and stronger, and usually bigger - bigger, not taller. Their litters are hardly ever with more than four pups, and the mother stays with her sons until she dies. They only separate from each other when one of her sons finds a mate for it.
While females can see, males can smell and hear better (they have those very small ears).
They have no ranks, everybody is somehow the leader because everyone cares about each other in the groups of three/four. When the females have litters with males which aren't from the same group, the group stays with her and help her to take care of the babies.
