Username: Incantation
Drayions name: Relic
Story:
Relic glanced around the darkness falling onto the forest. It didn't seem like anything stirred, as if a ghost haunted this reality. His dark eyes held a hidden secret, one that shouldn't have been spoken of. But here he was, because his mouth hadn't remained closed. For your disturbance you shall bring back the jewel . . . His elders words rang out in his mind, playing over and over again. Now he had to give up his only treasure. It was so beautiful, the Jewel of Ice. But now it would be his elders.
Anger pulsed through his body, along with sadness and unsettlement. They had no idea what the jewel could do, what it was capable of. The brown Drayion continued on, dodging branch and rock until he began to hear the sound of raging water. He reached the edge of a deep gorge with rushing water at the bottom. Relic looked at the log that served as the bridge for crossing and quickly swerved to meet it, walking slowly across.
Why did I have to boost? He thought to himself bitterly. I always have to boost . . . Quickly, he darted into the bushes and quickly started to walk towards a rocky path. the path winded up a small hill and came to a large boulder. One would have thought it was just a boulder, but not Relic. He looked around to make sure no one was watching and then stepped through it. Inside, a cold white glow covered the walls.
Sitting on a spire of stone sat a crystal clear gem, shining harshly with white and blue. Relic made his way carefully towards it. Gently, he picked it up between his teeth and then everything went black.
Relic awoke lying on the hard, cold ground. He blinked awake to find the gem- and hill- gone. Puffs of black smoke emanated from the ground. He pushed himself up painfully and then went to examine his body from any scratches or cuts. And he leapt backwards in surprise.
His pelt was now black.
