What is a strider?
- Two-toed Hell Striders, most commonly referred to as their common name of 'striders', are sighthounds originating from the various circles in the underworld, these canines are tasked with the feat of accompanying, comforting, and guarding lost and straying souls on their various journeys through the afterlife. With a hyper and playful disposition, these lightfooted dogs can transverse vast plains in a matter of mere moments.
general stats wrote:speed: 75-85 mph
weight: 50-160 lbs
height: 3 - 4 ft (at the shoulder)
- As of late, the breeding programs have been so successful with these quick canines, that they are now up for adoption to the general public. As long as your strider is kept in a large, well-ventilated home (with average temperatures kept at 110º-150º F) you both should get along just fine! A healthy strider has a diet full of protein from raw meat (preferable demon meat, since they offer the most nutrients), calcium supplements, fish oil, and a dash of charcoal. Fun recreational activities may be (but are not limited to): fetch, agility training, tracking the souls of the damned from their screams, frisbee, jogging, etc.! A strider will make the perfect companion for any moderately active human with a penchant for the occult!
Why does my strider look a bit different?
- Striders come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and colors! If you've adopted a strider that seems to have something a bit off, fear not! It's most likely just a bit of a mutation and is totally safe for your pup, making it one special dog!
