a specialty sticks with a yarn dog forever unless a specialty change ticket is purchased from the craft store. each specialty gives a certain advantage to a yarn dog. while each user picks a specialty for their storage, yarn dogs owned by them do not have to be that specialty! it just gives yarn dogs with that specialty boosted stats.
