Too much!:
August reached for a sour gummy. “Hey!” Someone said. “Those gummies are very sour, ya’ sure you can handle them?” August nodded. “Yep! I mean, I don’t reeaaalllyy like sour things or spicy things. I’m a sweet kinda guy. These don’t look too sour, though.” He said. They simply raised an eyebrow and said “Suit yourself. It’s not my tongue you’re risking.” August gulped. He really didn’t like sour things, but now that he had been warned, he really wanted to try one, see how sour it really was. August once again reached for a gummy, this time uninterrupted. He popped it in his mouth and... He cringed and spat out the gummy. Too sour! He winced. Why hadn’t he listened to that stranger’s warning? Why did the library have these- these- sour death gummies? He quickly grabbed his book bag and ran out. He walked as fast as could when- snap. His book bag snapped and all his books spillled out. Argh! Too many books! August balanced his books in a stack and walked them back to the library. He piled them in the return slot and walked home. On the way, he noticed a new candy shop and realized he could really go for something sweet, after that sour ficaso. He walked up to the door and noticed the handle was pretty far up. It would be hard for a normal sized babusagi to reach but impossible to reach for him. He stretched as far as he could and reached for the handle. Too short! No! He stomped off away from the shop, quite irratated. As he did so, the shopkeeper opened the door and poked his head through. “Hello! I noticed you needed a hand.” August turned around. “Uhh. Yeah. Thanks.” He walked into the shop and smiled. Rows and rows of candies. Chocolates, lollipops, fudge. So many different types. He grabbed a bag and put a bunch of candy in it. “I’ll take these.” He gave some coins to the shopkeeper and left. He munched on some candy and walked home. Later that night, he thought about his day. His day had just been.. Too much... Too much fun!
