hello everyone, since i was hired as a guest artist for kalons i recieved a staff custom. however, i have more than enough kalons already, so i talked to mintiature, and they let me to exchange my custom for an unlimited uncommon myo that i decided to give away. ;> (i have permission yo.)

ideas number one:

alright. first of all, I just wanna say thank you for the opportunity! I've been dying to get these ideas out of my head, so I hope you like them! So, I am an avid role player and I've come to love the characters that I've made. There are two that are my absolute favorite, but I will be describing one to you below. The character I've made is named Emiliano Gutierrez, and he's originally a hot headed pyromaniac. However, I'm more interested in his background, rather than his powers (which the kal would have none, so there's no confusion :^>) Emiliano's faceclaim is Willy Cartier, who've I've based most of his colors, hair and freckles off of. Emiliano is from a Latino descent, and he certainally shows it. His tattoos/markings are based off of Dia de los Muertos, which is the day of the dead. I've found a very nicely drawn, and written, comic where the artist merged Pinocchio and Dia de los Muertos together and the image that most stuck with me was this image. I love the tattoo on the guys arm, which I would want to incorporate a way.

Death moths are something that I've been fascinated with ever since I saw silence of the lambs. I certainly love the design of the moth, which a drawing of can be found here. I would love for that to either be as the shine, spanned over the back and the wings ending at the shoulders, or a smaller version limited to the shoulder.

Mayan and Latino culture is deeply instilled in Emiliano's character and I'd love for aspects of the cultural designs and symbols to be incorporated into his tattoos, such as skulls, birds and snakes. For his palette, I don't have exact colors, but more of ideas of colors. The purple/red found near the base of the birds tail, right above the tail feathers, shown here, is a color I would certainly like to use. The colors i were thinking about were terracotta colors for his paws and possibly the very tips of his ears. I have no idea about markings yet, or even where to put what colors, but hopefully I'll find enough inspiration. His colors would probably be taken from those of a hawk, and his flowing hair will be a rich brown, or maybe a purple/reddish brown, along with the tufts of hair found on the ref sheet. His hair has three braids; one big French braid down the middle and two on the sides. His beard would be the same color as his hair. I'm also interested in lighter brown on the belly, varying shades of brown and red for the body, possibly with shades of purple mixed in. Maybe some fiery reds, yellows and oranges, to represent his personality, however, I'm not completely sure on how I want his colors to be yet

Whilst Emiliano has a mother language native to himself, he doesn't speak English very well, and the language barrier is a great bridge for him to cross. He is often found smoking often, and even more commonly found by himself. He does fight, and won't let anyone put him down, or his family.

The edits I'd use for Emiliano are:

number two:
I've been dying for more chubby kals, and there's one that I've been imagining that I cannot get out of my head. He's really floofy and his fur is super duper curly, along with his mess of hair. His hair would be blonde/ light cream and extremely curly. His eyes would be a pastel pinkish blue and his shine would be iridescent. I'd like the colors on his body to be more like this rather than the more neon-eyeblinding colors that are known to be in those shades. His markings would definitely include flowers and stars, and would almost be like a sunset. He's got thick, long lashes and short little ears, and a thick, fluffy tail.

Benji is your typical tumblr boy, wearing jean jackets with patches and pins, embroidered baseball caps, and is a sucker for indie bands. He believes in aliens and wears flower crowns, but he's got a secret. Last year, he made a deal with the devil. In exchange for loyalty and hard work, he will never be hurt. You see, benji would never get hurt, both mentally and physically. Now, after making the deal, he doesn't really feel anything. He's more or less scared of the man who he made the deal with, and often gets scared a lot, but he'd never speak out against him. Now, benji wears bandaids to give the illusion of injury but they're there more for a sense of security than use. The man makes him do tasks that are rather unfavorable, but benji does them, simply because the man is his only "friend". Plus he'd be dead if he didn't carry out the tasks. His job, assigned to him by the man, is a fortune teller, complete with his own little shop and equipment. He's become quite good at it too, receiving pointers from other tellers like himself. He eats his feelings, binge watches Netflix too often and is always on his phone, most likely playing candy crush or maintaining his aesthetic blog. His intentions are pure, but he tries not to hurt anyone or anything, and will submit to others' words if it means avoiding conflict.

Benji is more or less a watercolor painting on a cream canvas, having thick and curly light blonde hair and little moles everywhere. He's got pink, blues, purple and yellows over his body, mixed around like a sunset. He's got flower and star markings on his body, along with some scars on his arms. He wears heart sunglasses, even though he can't see out of them, and he wears glasses occasionally (he usually forgets about them), and tries to wear contacts, but he basically never wears them because they scare him. He's got purple bags under his eyelids and a light dusting of freckles. He's pale and never gets tan, only sunburnt, and if he's at the beach, he's got 1000+spf on him at all times. He's fascinated with fish and bees, along with making his own clothing and, of course, the unknown. He believes greatly in aliens and he makes money on the side from selling clothes and stickers on his etsy. Plants litter his little shop, which is also his house, and he tries to cook, but is terrible at it and can burn water. He often orders out or makes frozen meals. Benji is a hopeless romantic and loves to reblog stuff on his tumblr, blushing for days if he gets a nice compliment. He doesn't post that many pictures of himself because he's self conscious, but loves all the attention he gets anyways. He never gets mad that much, but if he does, he's an angry crier and can say things he doesn't mean, but he feels bad afterwards, not getting as angry. He's kind of socially awkward, and sometimes stutters when doing simple things like ordering food, and blushes terribly. Overall, he's just a really good fortune teller with a contract with the devil who likes the simpler things and who wouldn't hurt a fly.

The edits I'd like to use for benji are:

(I think a chubbier body type would be a non-rarity, however, if it's not allowed, then the fur can just make up for his chubbiness)

Karmel: this is somewhat biased because I haven't really interacted with much of the staff, but I find you to be the nicest. Your designs never cease to amaze me, and you're so very nice. You gifted me my boy anansi, who I literally cannot stop drawing. (He's been on basically all of my math warm ups, just saying). You don't seem to get into arguments and you're very helpful and kind! I hope you continue to be as wonderful as you are!

Beta: you're the person that made Paz, and I cannot get over how beautiful he is, even to this day. I love the way you fleshed out my ideas and made them a reality, even being so kind as to dealing with my plethora of ideas, even accepting to make my baby boy. I cannot thank you enough. I don't see you much around in the community or in the designing, but I keep an eye out for your nursery batches. Thank you again!

rniai: we've had very little interaction, however, you've been incredibly helpful answering my questions and stuff of the sort. You're incredibly generous, and your designs are stunning. I'd love to see more from you in the future! You seem like a great asset to the kalon staff team and I hope you get promoted to an artist position in the future!

Idea most of the design will be black, coal black with white or other colored (galaxy palette) specks to represent a starry sky like pattern, the under side mainly will be the galaxy design, such as the chest, stomach, and slightly under the tail. along the underbelly of the kal would be skeletal ribs coming across the galaxy design.

recently i've gotten to know eun a bit and they are very sweet, having done a breeding with them and through out the whole time i found it easy to talk with them as well. also they have offered to gift a user an event item and that is very sweet of them, as some others wouldn't be willing to do that ♥

i have recently gotten to know elfie as well, such a nice person to talk to and extremely fun to head cannon with, especially with our two furbabies that are now mates ♥ eep. but elfie is a super sweet and cool person that i hope to get to know better in the coming days as we create a backstory for our two kals and so on ♥

i don't know insaniity very well but in a recent re-adopt run by you, ni, they created winner art as well as gift art for you. they are very sweet and their art skills are so beautiful i've always wanted to get to know them better but been to chicken to do so ♥ but they seem like such a nice and cool person oml.

goop bunny!! | gelli | female
- bunny ears are my fAVorite edit. the idea for this little kiddo is that the fur isn't real goop, but it was simply just born in that style, and gel just kept it that way! she's always a little bit shy, and hides behind her floppy hair and even floppier ears. the way she talks is sort of muffled ad jiggly, because her mouth is covered by her drooping fur. she doesn't have many friends, mostly enjoying the company of a single friend, or sometimes, none. her best friends are the adventures hidden on the library shelves. books!

- so like, baby goat. think about it. ok, now, add a sweater. yup! that's literally it. I think a really big eared kalon with a sweater is god bless adorable. like it would have the cute little goat eyes that are backwards?? denny will just be stubborn and that's it. he has only sweaters in his wardrobe and loves bein cozy n warm!

- konoha is an emo kid. very simple. a try hard emo. with his obviously forced deep voice and badly placed text talk, konoha has literally no clue what he should do to be cool half the time. this trait entwines with another he has, his ability to think on his feet, which can really help when he's stuck in a tough pickle of a situation. he's constantly in minor trouble with the law. he tries to draw attention to himself by doing stupid things, breaking smaller laws not many people really care enough to enforce.

caucasian shepherd dog | dingo | male ★ ★ ★
- I didn't want to do a sketch for this one! I wanted to leave it up in the air, open for interpretation. basically, these dogs, ovcharkas, are dogs bred for bear protection. they are literally my dream dog. they are huge, fluffy, and adorable. hairdo wise, I think wavy, longish hairdo that kind of fluffed up would look cute, and would match the fluffy hair that they've got going on eheh! I was thinking the color palette would be either galaxy (blues, purples, with little white flecks like stars) or natural colors! I think galaxy is really calling my name ;0; the hair and human form would be really similar to this! I love the idea of a bunch of freckles it's so cute eep!

personality etc -
dingo's just a friendly lumberjack!! he looks really really intimidating and has a deep voice and can get really intense but tbh he just wants to make friends with you. he loves all meat, and will eat steak 5 out of 7 days of the week. he has his own longhorns out in his little log cabin and he sells them and eats them. he's a big hunter, but truly only hunts for things when he needs them. he more or less lives off the land, doing awesome things like riding moose and wrestling bears all alone in the middle of the woods. he's a big tough guy, and would actually punch a bear if he really needed to. dingo loves being in the cold, seeing his breath in front of him, chopping down them trees. he built nearly everything he owns, whittling away to make small statues or sawing the wood for tables and frames. he actually also built his cabin, and the entirety of the fences surrounding it for his cattle. the longhorns need quite the large room, and boy do they have it. he has a large amount of land he inherited from who knows where, and puts all of it to use. dingo calls himself a "cowjack" (cowboy lumberjack).

ghost story | mako | non binary
- ok, so for this myo idea I was heavily influenced by the song ghost story. I was really connected to this song as soon as I heard it, and it gave me a ton of inspiration. as I do know someone with these problems, these are real life issues. the design is also based on my personal issues - anxiety, being alone, fear, anger, and weight. the ghosts are fear, the voices telling me what to do. the back mane, it's my fear. when a cat is frightened, its back fur with rise. the tail, it's a fuse. the shine is the fire on the end, showing I can always be ready to blow. this kalon also has an unrated body type - it's stomach is bigger than most kalons. I've always had some trouble with my weight, being insecure and at one point only wearing skirts. but the yellow on the paws and the stomach mean something else - it's the light at the end of the tunnel. there's possibility for change, for help. just keep trucking.

imp. just like dini, you're streams were really what connected me to kalons. it gave me a peek of how fun and enjoyable the kalon community can be. I looked forward to your streams every night, and you were always so kind and patient with me even when I act stupid. you are one of my best friends and I don't think I would be where I am with kalons if I hadn't met you.

ȶigressa has been my pal for quite a while, and when I came back to CS after an oh so long hiatus it was kinda stressful to join a new community when plumerians suddenly disappeared, but I remember seeing her as one of the artists and feeling better that people I knew a while ago were still around CS, and she's so nice in the community aaa honestly,, tig is a blessing

intertwined; was my first friend within the kalon community and actually one of the only people to approach me on CS and become friends with me!! Made me realize the community is not full of only salty people and that it's not as bad as it can seem
