─ Last Moon ─

Jasminestar looked on proudly at his kits, purring and nuzzling Faunawisp. "They're beautiful..." He whispered, smiling.
The chocolate she-cat looked at her mate, purring quietly. "Go on, name your sons." She urged. Fauna had already chosen Blizzardkit for their first daughter, they still had to announce them to the clan, however.
"I know what they shall be named." He murmured, picking up the kits. Their eyes were still closed and they whimpered as they were momentarily taken from their mother. He left the den, setting his children at his feet. He stood tall, looking to the clan. "Shoreclan! Gather around for the naming of your new princess!" He called, watching the hunters and guardians gather.
He touched his nose with the silver bengal kit, smiling. "She shall be known as Blizzardkit and may she grace our clan." He told, the clan chanting the newborn kit's name.
Jasmine moved to his sons, starting with the second born, "My second son shall be known as Hawkkit and may he protect our clan." He announced, once again the clan chanted 'Hawkkit'. "And for my first born son and Heir, he shall be Lynxkit. Once he is ready, he will lead Shoreclan towards greatness!" He called, looking across at the smiles of his clan.


─ This Moon ─

Matcha stalked through the jungle, catching a familiar scent. "There's no way it's him..." She murmured to herself, furrowing her brow. She sniffed the air, catching her brother's scent once again. However, this scent wasn't a track... It was actually him! She smiled wide, dashing through the under brush towards her brother. "Gin-seng!" She called, tears streaking through her eyes. She hadn't seen her brother since they were kits. However, as she came upon the silver Bengal tom instead, her heart sank.
"Matcha...?" He whispered in disbelief.
She stared at the tom, all her excitement bleeding. "Jasmine..." She answered, her eyes burning into him. "Where's Gin-seng? Is he with you?" She questioned, hopeful.
Jasmine frowned. "Matcha... Gin-seng died moons ago in that storm..." He broke to her.
Her heart shattered, thinking of her amazing brother. Her eyes teared up, the pit in her stomach almost overwhelming.
The silver tom took a step towards his sister. "Matcha... I know you were closer to Gin-seng than you are to me... But come with me, I've been saving his legacy." He told her, holding a small smile.
Matcha, too burdened with her grief, slowly nodded and followed her brother back to the Shoreclan camp...

Hawkkit was proudly showing his feather collection he had started to his two friends, Mistkit and Sagekit. "This one, my dad told me is a baby seagull feather." He said, showing a fluffy feather. He smiled as the two looked in awe at his cool feathers. He looked to his mother. "Do you like my feathers, mama?" He asked.
Faunawisp smiled. "Of course, honey! And when you're an apprentice, you'll be able to go out into the jungle and get even more feathers." She encouraged. However, her attention turned to his father as Jasminestar walked into the den. "Hawkkit, honey, why don't you look for some shells on the beach with Sagekit and Mistkit? I'm sure your sister would love a pretty shell." She urged, giving him the look that there was no option. Hawkkit nodded, leaving the den with the two and going out to the beach...
... Hawkkit had found a few small shells and was giving them to Blizzardkit. "This one is blue, like your eyes sis." He said as he handed her a spiral shell.
Blizzardkit grinned as she looked at the pretty shell. She let out a small yawn, looking towards the den. "Why don't we go take a nap with mommma?" She asked, already slowly moving towards the den.
As the two kits got to the mouth of the den, they heard their parent's hushed tones.
"Jasmine, I never loved him... I just needed someone. I felt lonely without you around..." Their mother was crying softly.
Hawkkit hid around the corner, listening as his father spoke. "Love, I know... It's okay, I should of brought you with me when I left our old home..." He comforted. "Who ever put the thought in your head that I wouldn't love you if I found out?" He questioned, purring quietly.
Faunawisp sniffled quietly. "Florasong... She's been really... Hard to deal with since she's been here." She admitted.
"We'll just keep this between the two of us, okay?" Their father whispered.
Hawkkit looked towards his sister, who was staying silent. "We never heard this." He whispered, the two entering the den as if nothing happened.

Paradise narrowed her eyes. In the distance the silhouettes of several tiny, lush green appeared. Finally! She spent the last few days on a strange aquatic twoleg monster, a so called "ship", hunting mice and hiding from twolegs. She felt sick every time the thing was shook by some bigger waves. Thankfully she wasn't all alone, as one of the twolegs had an elderly cat called Salty, who lived on the monster and helped her with everything (in fact, it was him, who told her that these things were called ships). They became quite good friends during this adventure, but now it was time to bid farewell.

Once the creature stopped at the shore, the black and white she-cat said good-bye to the old tom and quickly leapt off the ship, eager to feel solid ground beneath her paws once more. The sand was still warm, despite it already being painted silver by the moonlight. Around Paradise twolegs came and went, yelling, pointing with their long paws and moving weird twoleg stuff. The air was filled with the delicious scent of fish, that can make any cat's mouth water. The loner's belly churned with hunger. Has it really been that long since breakfast? She eyed the twolegs curiously for a few more minutes but then decided that it would be safer to hunt in the woods. She broke into run, leaving the harbor behind.

It felt so nice to be finally stretch her legs, that the next thing she knew was that she was surrounded by bright green vegetation on every side. No way! Just like in her dreams! A strange warmness filled her chest, a feeling of... belonging. Paradise lifted her leaf green gaze to the sky. Even through the thick leaves of the rain forest, she could see the stars shining brighter than before. The starry cats haven't talked to her for about a moon now, but at that moment she could feel their presence, their approval. She's finally home!

The brown tabby she-cat copied Horizonstar's position and gave her a nod.

"What brings you out here?" Horizonstar asked softly, returning her gaze to the sky.

"I should be asking you the same, really," Bramblestorm chuckled softly. "It's very late, Horizonstar."

"We've come so far, Bramblestorm," Horizonstar breathed out. "I came to this valley with only Zephyrrush and Honeysneeze alongside me. Zephyrrush followed me from the old clan, and we picked up Honeysneeze from the twoleg place as we passed through it. I truly never expected us to grow this much. Of course, we aren't as developed as Brindleclan by any means, but..."

"We've come farther than you expected." Bramblestorm finished for her.

"You really are my second half," Horizonstar chuckled, headbutting Bramblestorm affectionately. "I'm so glad you followed me here."

Clan Tradition:
When an apprentice is ready to become a warrior, they shall go on a week long quest into the Two-Leg territory on the western boarder, where they will look for a monkey by the name of Fitzgerald, and he will make their new clan collar for them. If they succeed then they shall be welcomed back to the clan as a full warrior, if they do not then they will have to train for an additional moon before they are able to try again. If they fail a second time, they are banished from the clan for weakness and a disrespect for clan tradition and law.
