Weaselstar spotted the cream and brown pelt he was searching out. “Snakewhisper.” He called, waving the newcomer over with his tail “Join me in my den.” The tom nodded and trotted into the building. The tom instantly noticed the difference between the leader’s den and the warriors’. Instead of individual sleeping holes, the den had a singular ledge that jutted from the back wall. Weaselstar leaped up to the perch and curled his tail neatly around his paws. “I wanted to talk to you about something.” Snakewhisper sat below the ledge and swallowed nervously. “A-Am I in trouble? Did I do something wrong?” The leader shook his head. “No, no.” He chuckled “Nothing like that. I just want to ask you a few questions, that’s all.” The warrior hummed, but the uneasiness still remained in his eyes. “I was just wondering what happened with your old group.” Snakewhisper shifted nervously. “I was kicked out. They know you’re here, Weaselstar. This land was originally theirs, before they lost it in a battle. Anyways, they wanted it back. They told a few of us to infiltrate your camp, but I refused. They kicked me out for being disloyal. I realize that I actually ended up in your camp, but I don’t mean any harm to you or RavenClan.” Weaselstar flicked his ear. “Why do they want our territory?” Snakewhisper shrugged. “I dunno.” He admitted “You could always talk to Caesar to find out.” The leader raised his eyebrow. “You mean approach the cats that want to overtake us?” He scoffed. The warrior smiled weakly. “Y-Yea, it doesn’t seem like a great idea, but I mean, if you did you would know for sure what they want.” The ginger tom considered this. “Where is the camp located? Could you take me there?” Snakewhisper’s eyes grew large. “Oh, uh, no. I could lead you to the border, but I’ve been banished. I can’t exactly just waltz in. You can wait for a patrol to spot you. They usually go out around sunhigh.” Weaselstar peeked outside. “Then we better leave now. Wait for me by the edge of the camp, I’ll collect a few cats and we can go.” Snakewhisper nodded and slunk out of the den.

“I don’t understand why we’re actually doin’ this.” Droserathorn muttered quietly. “Because,” Weaselstar sighed “We need to assess this situation. I want to get a look at these cats in case anything happens.” The shaman rolled his eyes. “Right.” He scoffed at his friend “Because goin’ into the camp of our possible enemies is a perfect way to calm tensions.” Weaselstar just rolled his eyes and looked over his shoulder. Antlerpool and Cubsnarl were walking dutifully behind him. He had only chosen two warriors to eliminate the chance of intimidating the rogue cats. Suddenly, Snakewhisper slowed in front of that. He turned and nodded. Weaselstar thanked him and the warrior scurried off in the direction of RavenClan’s camp. A strong breeze made Antlerpool shiver. “It smells weird over here.” She meowed, wrinkling her nose “Like rotting leaves mixed with twoleg place scent.” Cubsnarl tilted his head. “I mean, we are in the middle of the forest. Plus Agaricthroat and Riversnap said Caesar’s group came from the old city.” The she-cat sighed. “Great. We’re going to meet feral city cats.” Weaselstar clenched his jaw. “I’m sure it’ll be fine. We just need to take things slow and not make any sudden judgements.” He turned to his friend. “This place does give off a certain vibe, though.” Droserathorn raised an eyebrow. “What d’you mean?” The leader shrugged. “W-Well, I dunno. It feels like it’s had a long history. It feels...spooky.” The shaman laughed. “Well, I like spooky.” He meowed. Movement caught his eye and he saw three cats walking beyond the border. “I think we found our patrol. Let’s go talk to some rogues.” Droserathorn cleared his throat. “Oi!” He called to the cats. They instantly tensed up, flattening their ears and looking oddly at the group “D’You mind comin’ over ‘ere?” They cautiously obeyed, and soon the three cats were bristling on the border. “Who are you?” The leader of the patrol asked “And what do you want?” Weaselstar stepped forward. “My name is Weaselstar, leader of RavenClan. I heard that your leader wanted to talk to us.” Shock filled the cats’ gaze. They obviously weren’t expecting this to happen. After murmuring quietly to themselves, a she-cat nodded. “Follow us.” She meowed curtly. Droserathorn shrugged and motioned for Weaselstar to go first. The leader rolled his eyes and trailed behind the strange cats.

Weaselstar didn’t know what to expect the camp to look like, but it surprised him how much it looked like a traditional Clan camp. The camp itself was nestled into a round hollow, with bushes surrounding the lip of the small cliff, and trees sheltering the camp in the clearing bellow. There were kits and apprentices playing around the hollow, and queens watching from the bush nursery. There were warriors that looked like any other warrior would. It looked like a normal Clan. The patrol brought them to the far end of the camp, where a den carved out of the dirt wall smelled strongly of leadership. The she-cat dipped into the den and returned with what Weaselstar could only assume was Caesar. The RavenClan leader swallowed and on the inside, was filled with intimidation. The cat in front of him was massive. He had a dark, sleek black pelt that his muscles rippled beneath. His eyes were a piercing yellow, and Antlerpool had to look away from his stare. Cubsnarl tried to count the numerous scars that cut through his fur and his muzzle, but he eventually lost track due to their abundance. Droserathorn looked to Weaselstar, whose ear tips barely reached the tom’s chin. “Ah, RavenClan cats.” Caesar greeted. His voice was deep and velvety, but struck fear into the hearts of the puny-looking clan cats. “It’s nice to finally meet you.” He smirked “Please, come into my den.” He turned around and retreated to his den. The cats exchanged a glance, took a deep breath, and followed after him.

The den was large, it had to be to fit a cat of the tom’s size. Roots dangled from the ceiling, and Droserathorn tried to dodge them as he settled in. Caesar flopped down in his nest and smiled broadly at the group. “So I assume Snakewhisper found you.” He meowed, licking a paw and drawing it over his ear. Weaselstar nodded. “Riversnap and Agaricthroat, too.” Cubsnarl added. Caesar’s ear perked up. “Oh?” He gasped, clearly interested in the prior unknown information “And how are they doing?” The leader narrowed his eyes. “Good.” Weaselstar said simply “Riversnap is expecting kits and Agaricthroat is a fine warrior.” The black tom nodded. “That’s good. I’m glad to hear they’re succeeding outside of our group.” Droserathorn flicked his tail impatiently. “Why did you want to talk to us?” He meowed tensely. Caesar chuckled, and the cats had to force themselves not to shudder at the gutteral sound. “Straight to business, then.” He sighed “Alright. I wanted to talk to you about our borders. I understand that you are inhabiting the cemetery and the area around the lake. Look, I know you want to build up your clan, but my group is trying to survive, the same as you, and it can be difficult when you have competing cats as your neighbors. I’ll be honest with you, at first I wanted to conquer your land and slaughter your Clan. I wanted to reclaim the territory that was once ours. But now, I realize that we’re the same. We’re both trying to have our groups prosper. I like to consider myself an adaptable cat. So, we’ll make a deal. You’ve seen the border now. Stay on your side, and we won’t have a problem.” Weaselstar blinked. Confusion still clouded his mind, but he murmured some sort of agreement. “Lovely.” Caesar cooed, and got to his paws. “Lilacstream and Ploverclaw will take you back to the border.” He dipped his head to the group and nodded to his guards. The she-cat cleared her throat and led them out of the den. Droserathorn was the last one out of the den, and he followed at the rear of the group. As he was crossing the hollow, a small black and white apprentice came bouncing up to him. “Are you from RavenClan?” She whispered “I heard Riversnap is with you?” The shaman raised an eyebrow and nodded, continuing to walk. “My name is Gladepaw. Riversnap’s my aunt.” She introduced quietly “Please let her know that I miss her! We all do.” She looked over her shoulder. Following her gaze, he saw a group of she-cats and younger cats lounging in the sun. A few of them bared a striking resemblance to his mate, and he guess that they were the family she talked about. He nodded dutifully and promised her he would. She bid him farewell with a sweet smile, and the shaman followed his clanmates back home.

xxxxxxxWith all of the ruckus Gloryrise and Sunstar had caused, Pavilla quietly gave birth to two sweet kits with another father who was not a TwistedClan cat. Silverstem now knew enough to not ask too many questions with Lynxshine growing bigger everyday with no known mate in camp either. She was surprised by the influx of single mothers as she would never choose to try to parent alone. She had already reared her kits by herself and it was rather draining. So, she made no judgements about these queens and vowed to be the father, aunt, sister, whatever the queens and their families needed.

xxxxxxxStarlingsky sought out Ashpaw and found her curled up in a too-small apprentice nest taking a nap. She shook her gently and rocked back to avoid a claw to her face. “’m sleepin’.” Ashpaw grumbled and turned away from the deputy. She protested loudly when she was roughly dragged out from her nest.
xxxxxxx“I thought you’d want to know you passed your warrior assessment.” Starlingsky laughed as Ashpaw turned from groggy to fully alert. “After things have…calmed down…Sunstar will hold your warrior ceremony.”
xxxxxxx“Really?” Ashpaw asked sincerely. “This isn’t a trick?”
xxxxxxx“Why would I lie about this?” Starlingsky rolled her eyes playfully. “Keeping you as my apprentice forever isn’t on my radar.”

xxxxxxxPatchnose slunk into Sunstar’s hollow tree stump in the early hours of the morning. He stuffed his tail in his mouth before Sunstar could yelp and alert the others. Patchnose got right to the point. “Am I really not your kit?” He whispered, moons of love and trust now broken. “Did Dovestrike and Petalfall know? Why didn’t you ever say anything?”
xxxxxxx“It was a very complicated decision,” Sunstar blinked rapidly trying to wake up quickly, “It was ultimately Rainsong’s choice to tell you or not and in the end she decided it wasn’t necessary for you to know.”
xxxxxxx“Not necessary?” Patchnose snorted. “You’ve lied to me my entire life. To me, my sisters, and my Clan.”
xxxxxxx“If you look at it that way, yes, we did lie to you.” Sunstar paused. He wanted to clearly get his point across without screwing anything else up. It seemed that lately, all he could do was screw things up. “But from the second you were born, it didn’t matter that I was not biologically your father. I loved you as my own kits and raised you just the same as I try with Tornadopaw.”
xxxxxxx“I can understand that,” Patchnose said after a long moment of silence, “I just wish you two were more transparent. I’ll let you sleep now.” He turned but stopped right before he exited. “I suppose you won’t tell me who my actual father is?”
xxxxxxxSunstar sighed. No more lies. “Was,” He corrected softly, “Your father was Patchedmask of DewClan.”
xxxxxxx“I’m named after him?”
xxxxxxx“Patchedmask didn’t live in TwistedClan very long before a rouge killed him, so you might not have the clearest image of him, but you do look remarkedly like him.” Sunstar said. “He and Rainsong never had a proper relationship after you were born but she did want to honor him by giving his son his name.”

xxxxxxxAshpaw could hardly sit still from excitement. Hollyshade and Featherflurry had received their warrior names when she was gone retrieving Marsh from RavenClan, and it was finally her turn! She secretly wished that Sunstar spent a lot of time picking out her warrior name even though she and her brothers had caused him a lot of heartache. She liked to think that they’ve improved, at least slightly, and she wanted the best warrior name in the entire Clan. Sunstar leaped onto the low branch of the Ceremony Tree looking somewhat nervous. Hopefully he kept his cool and didn’t disrupt the main focus of the warrior ceremony: Ashpaw. She was beside him before he started speaking. “Ashpaw, do you promise to uphold TwistedClan’s traditions and to protect the Clan with your life?” Sunstar called from the Ceremony Tree.
xxxxxxx"I do," Ashpaw said.
xxxxxxx“Then, I give you your warrior name, Ashshroud. I know you learned patience like your dear mentor, Starlingsky, did.” Sunstar rested his muzzle on Ashshroud’s forehead while TwistedClan cheered. Ashshroud didn’t care about Rainsong’s apparent affair or who Pavilla and Lynxshine had shacked up with…she wasn’t Ashpaw anymore!

xxxxxxxPhoenixfire was surprised by a small mouse landing in front of her crossed paws. A shadow appeared and the cat connected to it was Hollyshade with a nervous expression on his face. “I didn’t know if you wanted a snack or not.” He said.
xxxxxxx I’d love one, is what she wanted to say, but she had to be strong. Since she was very young, she had endured snarky looks and comments. She didn’t need her mate’s kin making those toxic remarks; she deserved better. “Not really hungry,” She said instead, slightly turning her head away. Hollyshade apologized quietly and whisked the mouse away, ears and tail low. I’d love you, she wanted to say, I’d love you under different circumstances.

xxxxxxxMountaintop and Wishbone sat around lazily soaking up the last of the noon sun. “What do you think Frostpaw is doing now?” Wishbone sighed and put his head on his paws.
xxxxxxxMountaintop’s tail twitched, “I don’t know, maybe learning more about StarClan?”
xxxxxxx"StarClan?"
xxxxxxx“That’s where all cats go, or at least the good ones, when they die.” Mountaintop explained. “Each one is a star.”
xxxxxxx“That explains why there’s so many stars then,” Wishbone closed his eyes and pictured the night sky. “Do you think one day there will only be stars and no sky? I bet there’s a lot of cats in the world.” Mountaintop didn’t know what to say to that.

xxxxxxxWhile Cariboukit wasn’t as much as a fan of the younger kits as Stagkit was, she still played and wrestled with them. With six of them, it was tiring to chase after each of them, but she supposed that’s why Elkwhisper encouraged them to play. Gloryrise wasn’t the friendliest cat, so by allowing the visiting queen to have some quiet time, she became more tolerable. Lilacdawn was on the other hand much more approachable and even joined in with some of the roughhousing. Gloryrise was more of a supervisor of sorts, teaching sneaky fighting moves and snarky remarks. Overall, Cariboukit couldn’t complain. Gloryrise and her gang made the nursery so much more exciting.

xxxxxxx“There have been many rumors and mutterings this past moon based on certain events,” Sunstar announced from the Ceremony Tree, “and I would like to address them. First of all, yes, Patchnose, Petalfall, and Dovestrike are not my biological kits, yet they are still one hundred percent my kits. Second, yes, Tigerstrike has sired six kits with Gloryrise of ScarabClan. She, Lilacdawn, and any of their kits are to be welcomed into TwistedClan at any time, along with any other interclan relationship. Rainsong was torn between a potential relationship and feelings of loyalty. TwistedClan will go into this new rouge-free, peaceful era with its head held high and accepting different paths of life.” Sunstar took a deep breath. “I know that’s what Rainsong would have liked.”

Duststripe calmly groomed Rosekit in smooth rhythmic motions. The little kit drifted off to sleep soon to be joined by Honeykit who Tawnyfall was grooming. “I don’t want to sleep” Emberkit complained. “All the others are asleep and you’ll have nobody to play with” Tawnyfall whispered gently to her. Emberkit finally settled down when Nettlestar and Ravenshadow suddenly woke there kits and guided them to the nursery entrance. “What’s happening” Tadpolekit murmured as Ravenshadow began to smoothen her pelt. “You’ll see” he purred in reply. Nettlestar leaped up onto the high rock and cleared her throat to call a clan meeting. “Oh that’s just bad luck Tawnyfall, we just got the kits to sleep” the clan gathered around and watched Nettlestar’s kits all walk in a line towards to high rock. It must be there apprenticeship ceremony he thought. When Nettlestar had gotten to Hollykit he saw her pause before she announced her mentor; “Your mentor will be Duststripe” she called at last. Shock fell through him Me? he almost said aloud as he padded towards the small black apprentice. He had to bend down extra low to touch noses with her. “Hollypaw, Hollypaw, Hollypaw” the clan called.

POV Seeker
“Arrowflight!”
Seeker announced to the new name of the former kitty pet who looked up at him, his eyes shining excitedly, and his tail flicked a little from the left to the right. It was still a little weird for Seeker to rename other cats, but when he looked at them, those who brought them her seemed to whisper into his ears, like they knew what this cat name should be. Seeker doesn’t even know what an arrow is, but somehow, they could tell him that it flew through the air.
“Can I go hunting now with Flyingashes?” The young tom asked excited looking over to the grey tom, who groomed himself. He didn’t even look up hearing his new name. Seeker often asked himself if he was really okay with changing his name, but his brother would always say, that I didn’t bother him.
“I’m coming with you just wait a moment okay?”
Before either of them could answer Seeker ran into the Hollowtree. It was his new den, but also the den of everyone else because they were still building the other.
He looked at the little mountain of leaf’s. He put them there after finding it. He didn’t want any of the others to find it, so he put on some more leaf’s. No one should find it like that, at least he hoped.

POV Rosethorn

All of the others were gone hunting now and to sit alone in the camp wasn’t really a funny activity, so why not go and gather some more herbs. Well, if she could only find some that was. She looked around for a while now with little luck.
Her ears peaked up when she heard a small whimper, somewhere in the distends. “Wha…” It didn’t really sound like one of her brothers. They had deep voices. Maybe Arrowflight? She wasn’t sure, but she had to go and look.
The closer she got, the better she could hear that it wasn’t any of the others. It was a she-cat in pain.
Rosethorn stared to move faster and faster until she saw the grey-cream she-cat. She was trapped under a string trap one of her legs stuck between the wooden frame and a rook.
Rosethorn slowly stepped near examining the trap and the cat inside.
“Don’t just stand there! Help me!” The she-cat looked furies not with her but with the situation she was in.
Rosethorn steeped closer “How about please?” She didn’t look at the stranger her eyes were fixated on this thing. The material surrounding her was almost looking like string from a spider. A really big and hard to break string.
“How funny you are” The other meowed sarcastically looked up at her. A glow in her green eyes.
Rosethorn slowly took a web of big string in her mouth trying to chew trough it, but it slipped most of the time and when she got the first one trough it was clear this tactic would cost a hole day.
“I tried that before. It’s useless.”
“Well I have another idea, but maybe you could tell me your name while I’m working.”
The black and white cat said stepping in front of her. The other cat looked at her for a while and she almost thought that she wouldn’t answer.
“Moon.” She said finally looking away.
“Well, Moon. I’m goanna go in there now” Rosethorn said sheepishly a cheeky glimmer in her eyes, while Moon could only look at her confused. With quick movements Rosethorn started to dig. The river was near so the dirt soft and sticky. It took quite a while and even Moon started to dig from the other side now as much as the could without hurting her leg more. The stars where almost out when Rosethorn slipped through the hole under the web standing right in front of Moon.
She smiled at her before stepping behind the other cat examining her leg again.
“That looks like it hurts.” She said sniffing at the wound.
“It does to be honest.” Moon said turning her head over her shoulder to look at her.
“I have a plan.” “Will you tell me this time?” “No, I will show you again, but you probably won’t like it as much.” The grey-cream cat was about to ask when Rosethorn spook again. “When I say pull, pull okay?” She waited till the other one nodded. “okay. PULL!” She screamed while smashing herself against the big stone pushing it away while Moon pulled her leg in under pain, but it wasn’t at bad as if the wood frame would have fallen upon it.
“Ouch! Couldn’t you just tell me?!” Moon screamed at her.
“No, because you wouldn’t have let me then.” Rosethorn said calmly. “Do you think you can get out of the hole?” She asked seeing the slight doubt in Moons eyes. She looked at her hind paw and then to the hole. “I have to if I don’t want to stay her.” She said after some time slowly crawling towards.
“You’ve got that.” Rosethorn said watching her crawling through the tunnel now, she could hear her hissing and coursing because of the pain biz she made it to the other side.
Rosethorn came out behind her. Moon tried to walk but was clearly too tired to make it far alone. Without thinking the black and white she-cat started to support her by letting her lean on her. It looked like Moon was about to complain, but she knew it was better that way.
“So, what is the name of my bad saviour?” Moon asked looking over to her.
“You mean who you owe a thank you? Rosethorn.” She said grinning slightly.
“Then, thank you Rosethorn”
