The sun burned white through the hanging morning haze. For once, the ocean blew calmer against the beaten shores. It even looked a tint sage. Feranna gently urged her sister a few steps farther before the she-cat laid to rest on her belly. The damp stone cooling her body, she gave a little smile.
"The sea looks like your crystals, sister."
Feranna laughed, whiskers twitching with amusement.
"If only we could see the sky today. Then we'd almost be together."
"I'm happy with where we are," the injured Mystic pressed her cold nose against her sister's flank. "We will always be together, yeah?"
"Yeah. It'll be our legacy. The legendary warrior queens. Maybe one of us will become queen proper one day." A twinkle of ambition flickered across her eyes and crystals.
"You'd be a great queen, sister. Queen Feranna. It suits you." Chulanna mewed, pulling herself to sit again beside her littermate. Feranna looked to her.
"I'd forgo a mate and request you be queen alongside me, sister."
"I'd gladly, sister."

The steady growth of her fellowship brought none of the usual joy to Heron as she prepared her members for battle. She knew Serpenti to well, and the tom was not likely to give up without a fight.
oh well, time for more mana spirit drama... she thought as the golden moon peeked over the horizon.
She retreated to her den and curled up with her tail over her nose. She sighed softly as she slid into sleep.

As she opened her eyes to a starry clearing she expected to hear the cackling and jeers of the mana spirits, but was greeted instead with starry pelts brushing hers and gentle murmurs.
The clearing seemed to swirl downward into a pool of water, its surface still as stone.
The wind seemed to pull her towards it, and she paced her way down towards the pool.
She looked down at her own reflexion, and watched in fascination as her eyes began to change and she looked closer, desperate to see more, and her nose broke the surface of the water, and a rippling image took its place.
She watched, transfixed as in the pool all the events that had occurred since the Temple's founding flashed before her.
She was shaken out of her daze by a gentle voice.
"Welcome Heron. We are so glad you've finally come."
"Aren't you going to try and scare me? Hurt me?" She asked bewildered.
"No Heron. We had to trick you. It was the only way."
"The only way for what?" She cried, confusion clouding her mind.
"All in good time my dear..."
"But what about my request?"
"We've already handled that." A familiar voice said. She turned.
Standing before her was the same wyvern tom she'd seen so often.
"Who are you?" She pleaded, but everything already faded. Her question echoed through the pitch black emptiness, until she was shaken awake.

"Heron! It's time for you to organize patrols!" Snap mewed.
Heron woke with a start.
"Alright! Alright!" She grumbled, as Snap slipped out of her den.
Heron stood up and looked around with bleary eyes. She really needed a second in command to take care of this stuff.

Harfynns- basically snowy owls with four legs, claws and long feathered tails.
Patras- like a cross between a large cat and a badger, with thick neck fur, no tail, long pointed ears and a long face.

Slynxes- like a fox, but they have two or three tails, and extra set of legs, and four eyes.
Jaukers- the ultimate predator. Long tufted ears, huge front arms, lots of fur, talons and no tail. One single, twisted horn coming out of its forehead.

Moonwing had just finished catching a pixie. The humanoid creature was easy to find because of it's "house" it makes out of mud and stones. Some pixies can fly and make their "houses" in the trees with sticks and branches. Those ones are more difficult to locate because they can disguise them to looks like wasp nests. Moonwing carried her prey back to the cliffside.
She used the tunnels that she had spent the last moon exploring and memorizing to get to her sleeping chamber. The "king's chamber" was the third largest chamber in the tunnel systems and the only chamber to have direct access to the cliffside. The 'common area/meeting chamber" was the largest by a landslide. This must have been where the giant stone slugs hibernated together in the winter. The second largest chamber was going to be the "cleric's chamber." There many beds for new kit-mothers and the sick can be made and enough storage for the herbs and treasures from raids can be stored. The fourth largest chamber will be the "queen's chamber." Unfortunately, it wasn't much larger than the other chambers, but the queen will have this chamber all to themselves. The other chambers found throughout the tunnel systems will be the "mages' chambers" where the other cats can sleep. They can hold anywhere from 2-4 cats per chamber.
As Moonwing entered the king's chamber, she smelled a familiar scent. Moonwing bounded forward to see her sister, Stormsky, waiting for her. Moonwing dropped her pixie and greeted her sister.
"I have decided to help you start your fellowship. And not because mom made me leave to look after you either." Stormsky teased.
Moonwing snickered and replied "Like I need your help making a fellowship. But I am glad you are here anyway. I'll give you a tour of the place. You can be my queen, or second-in-command."
"Gladly. Now take me to my chambers, oh fellow leader."
"This way, and it's king to you."
"Why king?"
"Everyone thinks of a king as the high ruler. If I was a queen and had a king, everyone would think the king rules this fellowship. So I decided that I'm gonna be the king." Moonwing explained.
As the two got settled a storm began brewing. The winds and sleet hurled down from the heavens. But the two cats weren't even bothered by the storm. They were safe in the tunnels. Moonwing mocked "You always bring bad weather!"
"I can't control it! And you know that's not true."
"Why do you think mother gave you the name Stormsky?"
"Hello?" an unfamiliar voice called. "Is anyone there?"
Moonwing replied "Yes, who is it?"
A soon-to-be nurse with long rabbit ears walked into Moonwing's illuminated light. "My name is Creamclaw. I was looking for a place to shelter from the storm. I heard voices in these tunnels so I decided to follow them. I hope you don't mind."
"Not at all. I'm Moonwing and this is Stormsky." Moonwing turned to Stormsky. "Now it makes sense why there is a storm. This nurse is a water element. Your air element must have clashed with hers. Anyway, welcome to my fellowship."

It had been a hard moon. Every cat had grown restless, unable to leave the camp. They knew it was for
their safety of course, but even though they knew they had food to last, it was still a great cause of
strife for the mages and knights not to be able to leave and hunt, or even patrol to make sure their
territory was safe. Oceana had kitted three nights after Agraz and Inferno's bodies were discovered,
and she'd had three kittens. One had died shortly after, but the other two seemed to be healthy
enough. And just a few nights ago, Cinder had finally begun her kitting.

There was only one kit, a little she-kit with red, orange, and white fur, little feathered wings, and curly
rams horns, but Cinder treated her like a gift directly from Amser. Which, considering that her mate was
dead and now the kit (who'd been named Bronnan) was the only connection she had to him, so, maybe
little Bronnan was a gift, considering she hadn't been born weak, or even still.

Cinder had promised that within a few days, she would accept the spirit magic from Amser, and they would leave
the camp, set out across the world to find themselves a new home.

But...

Where was she?

Fleur frowned as she scanned the camp, Cinder was supposed to be starting hers, Oracle, and Hyacinth's ceremonies
literally any minute now, so they could leave the camp for the first time as Pupils, like they were supposed to, but
there was still no sign of her!

And then the screeching started.

Fleur's blood turned to ice as her head turned so fast her eyes burned. It was coming from Cinder's den. Had something
happened? Had Anubis come back to finish the job of killing the Servant's leadership?

But when a few of the older cats ran into the den, Snapdragon and Warble racing from their spots nearby, they came out
only with Ruby walking between them, and Bronnan gently nestled in the soft space between Warble's wingblades. Ruby
was visibly shaking, and Snapdragon and Warble looked stunned.

"What's going on?" Wasp's voice sounded from near where he, Winter, and Fog had been up most of the night watching
the camp barrier.

Instead of answering, Warble slowly asked "You watched it the whole night, right? It never flickered, never changed?"

Wasp frowned "Not so much as a ripple," he said. "Why what-?"

"Cinder" Snapdragon said. "She's...she's dead. Same as Agraz and Inferno, only she was still in the den. It, it looked
like she was trying to wake up Bronnan and Ruby when her attacker came."

"No..." Oceana whispered, emerging from the nursery with Oracle and Hyacinth on her tail. Fleur turned to look
at her siblings, eyes wide with worry. The adults didn't think they could understand, but the three children of
Sybil had been born with death tainting their paws. Their sister killed in a Ceremony, and their mother snapping
and attempting to kill Agraz just two moons before he was found dead. And now Cinder, who had been going to
lead them safely away, was dead too.

"We're all here," Snapdragon said softly "And now I don't think we're ever going to get out. Cinder never took Spirit
Magic, and who of us could possibly have any claim to taking it?"

"Not to mention any cat who was of a high rank has now been killed." Winter said "Except for Bronnan, but...with
Cinder AND Agraz dead, she's hardly the heir anymore. At least, I don't think we should count her as such. She's far
too young to lead us, and we can't ask a newborn kit to take Spirit Magic to free us from the camp."

"Maybe there's some prey in this dimension, it's bigger than we've ever explored," Fog said hopefully "We could live
here, we could make it."

"With something lurking in the shadows waiting to kill any cat who steps up as leader?" Winter countered. "Not to
mention we'd die off eventually anyways, with no new cats to join us, no cat trained in herbs and healing."

Fleur's fur shivered, her horns tingling softly. She turned to look at her siblings, and knew that they'd felt it too.
They'd felt something last night too, and the night before Agraz and Inferno had been found. Something big
was about to happen, something important.

Fleur's horns prickled, and then almost without her thinking of doing it, her head jerked to the side to stare at the barrier.
A split second later, it began to ripple, and Winter let out a warning yowl. Oceana tugged Fleur, Oracle, and Hyacinth
back behind her, beside Ruby, Bronnan, Mesmer, and the kit that would be going to Rhys, and formed a wall of water,
her crystals pulsing furiously.

The barrier crystal pulsed, rippling again, and then three cats emerged. One had soft white fur, blue and green scales
crawling up her forelegs, chest, and face, and blue feathery wings emerging from her shoulderblades, like Warble's but
bigger. The second cat had darker fur, black with soft white speckles almost like stars gleaming, and a thicker pale
patch over his left eye and spreading down to his shoulder, swirling out and becoming thinner as it trailed down his
side.

But it was the third cat that drew Fleur's attention. Her horns seemed to pulse in time with the third cat's steps, and
she shivered, feeling the power that utterly oozed from every bit of the third cat. The third cat was indescribable,
beautiful, but in a way that words could never properly convey. Her eyes glowed a brilliant gold, and her wings, beautiful
and full with feathers of every color of the rainbow.

Fleur knew in an instant just who the third stranger was, and when she realized it a strangled sort of gasp came from her
throat. The third cat smiled around the camp, and spread her wings softly. "It's alright, my children, the time for blood
shed has passed, my wrath extended only to Agraz, Inferno, and Cinder. My peace is carried over all of you."

"Amser..."

Snapdragon was the first to speak, her blue eyes wide. "Y-you're Amser!"

Amser purred, nodding her head. She had horns, dark crystal, long, and curled back like a dragons. As she nodded, they
sparkled in the light, glinting with what almost had to be condensed spirit magic. "I am, and I am the reason that
Agraz, Inferno, and Cinder have died. The three of them had dark hearts, dark plans. You are my servants, beyond that,
you are my children. I have brought you a shaman, and a knight, and I have come to free you from this dark place."

She spread her wings, indicating the two cats behind her. The winged one smiled, and nodded, while the starry one
simply blinked and inclined his head.

"I'm going to set you free from this accursed dimension," Amser continued "And you will be on the move. I won't
lie, it's going to be hard. But you all will do it. These two will help you, and when you arrive, you will know. It will likely
take you at least five moons to get there, but the journey will be worth it. Wait at least three moons, before you choose
your next leader. Take the time to truly bond with one another. Do not choose a cat that is not in this camp today, you
may find newcomers, and welcome them, you may continue the tradition of the Blessed, as there is no harm in that.
But do not choose a new king or queen until three moons have passed. Give yourself time to break free from the dark
shadows that lurk here."

Amser turned, as if to leave, then paused. She turned to look towards the three older kits, and Fleur shivered, feeling
the power that was held just in the goddesses gaze alone. "Before I go..." Amser said. "You have no leader, and
yet it seems such a shame to leave kits who are of age unable to train. Fleur, Oracle, Hyacinth, rise."

Fleur's eyes widened. Slowly, like she was dreaming, she got to her paws and took a few, extremely awkward steps forward.

Amser smiled, and her horns pulsed a brilliant gold. "I, Amser, name you, Oracle, Fleur, and Hyacinth, as Pupils of my
Servants." she paused, humming softly to herself, then added "Oracle, you will be trained by Snapdragon. Hyacinth,
your mentor will be Warble. Fleur..." Amser's horns pulsed again and she smiled to herself "You will be trained by
Sanvi here" she nodded to the winged cat, who had been introduced as their shaman. "You'll need her help in the
moons to come."

Amser spread her wings, and raised her voice "The time has come for you all to leave." she shouted. Her whole body began to glow, and then the barrier crystal shattered. In the same second, Amser's glow intensified, and then she was gone.

The barrier gleamed, revealing the beach beyond it. Snapdragon took a slow step forward, then another, and again, until
she was running. Her horn pulsed lightly, and soft white, pink, and blue flowers blossomed under her paws as she ran
through the barrier. She landed neatly on the other side, paws buried in the sand, and she let out a thick purr.

They were free.

season: winter
snow lies in massive drifts over the territories. even the warmest areas
feel the effects, from frost killing vulnerable plants, to causing coughs
to those who have experience too much exposure. cats with the water
element prosper, but prey and herbs have become scarce. queens have
a hard time kitting, though predators are also feeling the effects of the
cold, which might mean more success for raid patrols.

DIE AKADEMIE FUR GEFAHRTEN ; sharpiesandhamilton
★ despite the odds in the cold weather, spinnet's patrol has a bout of amazing luck! they manage to bring home a sizable catch of x2 loibidods and x1 gasiohure, with the help of a praktizierende der magie!
↪ their description is "just an oddly shaped calico with the double species gene." they were colored by spasticjazzhands.
★ however, it seems that the patrol's luck ran out quickly when they went on a scouting patrol. spinnet's patrol was caught in a sudden snowstorm. spinnet and elphias got lost in the storm, unable to see through the snow. by the time they found dolores again and were able to return home, spinnet and elphias were sniffling, and dolores suggested they go to alastor in case they had a cold, or worse. alastor examines the pair and concludes that neither of them need herbs or rest, but tells them to be careful next time. the storm spared them, but they were unable to find anything else during their patrol.
★ unfortunately, it seemed that the storm not only endangered spinnet and elphias, but killed majority of the remaining herbs. after much searching, alastor was successful in bringing back x1 blackberry leaves.
★ elphias is expecting kits! they are due in 2 moons.

MAGIC KINGDOM ; lyttlekytten
★ ana's patrol passes rather uneventfully. the territory appears rather quiet, though they do spot several impressive icicles while on their patrol, there isn't much else to take note of.
★ whereas the scouting patrol was uneventful, ana and the rest of the patrol found their spirits raised when they found some unexpected luck while hunting. by the end of the day, they brought back x2 mice and x1 large bird.

★ mira and marcus managed to catch x1 bird while on their hunting patrol!
★ when rhea returns home, she is not alone. during her patrol, she found a familiar face, who mira instantly recognizes as her sister! she is interested in joining their fellowship to be reunited with mira.

The current season is spring! The leaves are adorned with fresh dew and the sun beams gently onto the earth. Because the weather outside is so lovely, lots of cats are going out to enjoy it, and they might just need a new fellowship to settle down in. Births are going smoothly and the hunters are bringing back more food for the fellowship to enjoy. Go out and catch some butterflies!

Please note that rolls were done according to the winter season, but as of today (June 1st), the season has turned to spring.

Kita hums happily to theirself as they look around the island, keeping in their feline form so they can really appreciate the different scents that their human nose can't pick up. They peer down into the water, and then they fall back with a strangled scream.

Himura is at their side almost in an instant, her hackles raised and her wings held high and menacingly. Kita scrambles to get behind the Jōnin, and whimpers softly.

The strange glowing light they saw rises to the surface, and Kita almost begins crying when they get a good look at the strangers face. He has dark eyes, so dark that they almost thinks they might even be fake. His teeth are too big for his mouth, and they shoot up from his lips in a strange jagged pattern. He also has two big slits on either side of his neck, and they wants to say they're gills like a fish, but they're not at all sure of that.

Himura snarls, and the stranger stops suddenly. He has his front paws on the land, the rest of his body seemingly adrift. His fur is dark and blue, and Kita can't tell where the water ends and he begins; and if it weren't for the strange little feather-like thing that's sprouting from his forehead, Kita wouldn't've even seen him coming. It's no longer glowing, but they know full well that it was.

"Ah, you muth be thome of the new Jōnin Izumi mentioned." His voice is a lot higher than Kita expected, and he slurs over certain sounds. Which they did expect, because of his strange looking teeth. It's then that a strange little moth lands on his head. It has silver and blue wings, and it's eyes shine with intelligence. Kita steps out from behind Himura, and curiously approaches.

"That's one of Lady Izumi's summons, isn't it?" Kita questions, and he grins. It unsettles her, but if the little summon isn't scared of him, then Kita decides that she shouldn't be either. After all, Lady Izumi had spoken about sending some of her summons to call back some of the old Jōnin, and so this terrifying looking tom must be one of them.

Before he can say anything else, the Mizukage herself appears, and tackles the stranger. Except, she ends up going through him?

Kita watches carefully, and watches how some of the water seems to be moving. A moment later the stranger reappears, and dunks Izumi's head back under the water when she comes back up for air. Her paw slaps up, and it seems to go right through him.

When Izumi next breeches the surface, it's with a happy laugh. "Komonami-kun, you're okay! I missed you!" she cheers, and Kita mentally corrects their name for him from 'the stranger' to 'Komonami-san'. Himura grumbles something under her breath, and then she heads back to the main camp, no doubt to complain to Shimizu and Hikawa about their new arrival.

"Of courthe I came back, moron! I can't leave you to run Kiri by yourthelf, now can I?" Komonami teases, and Kita huffs a small laugh before heading back to camp as well. After all, if he's staying, they'll have plenty of time to get to know the stranger. For now, they'll give them the time to reunite in peace.
