Current Season: Autumn- Autumn has arrived! Leaves are starting to turn color as a soft chill fills the air. Expect more predators such as foxes or badgers and make sure to stock up on kitting herbs.

Hurricane Rains’s camp is a site, its located just at the edge of the rocky hills. The camp is perfect for protecting young kits. The queens den is located at the top of the ledge in the hole in the rocky wall, they picked this den because of the safeness of the ledge. Enemy cars can easily be pushed off the ledge and twist their necks, Hurricane moors cats have too narrow paws to be pushed off but if they are pushed off they have a higher chance of not twisting their necks. The left den under the ledge is the elders den, it was highly debated whether or not to switch this den with the queens den but it was decided against. The prey-hunters + guards + prey-sorters den is the right den under the ledge and the mountain-laurel bush is the apprentices den; both dens bigger than they look.

Hurricane moors are known for their trials; The Hurricane trial, The Herbal trial, and the Prey sorter trial.

The Hurricane trial is the trial for the to-bes turning to full prey-hunter/guard. The to-bes will be lead to the perfect river, they will be left to swim across the lake. The parents, if any, the mentor, and their healers will wait for the to-bes to cross. Either the to-be with drown and be dragged out by their mentor or they will pass. In some cases, apprentices just have to do the normal assessments because of a physical or mental problem like twisted paws or other problems. If any to-be is found out to have gotten help they must wait 3 more moons until they will take the test again, if they cheat again they will be forced to survive 5 moons by themselves. If they come back they will have the lowest respect in their respective rank.

The Herbal trial is the trial for the healers and healer to-be. It's taken every 12 moons to test the knowledge and reliability of their herbal carers, so that cats don’t die due to not knowing how to treat them. Sometimes it's taken early because of a death of a patient or accusations of herbal idioteces in the practices of the healer.

The Prey sorter trial is the trial for prey sorters and their to-bes. Its taken everytime newleaf is reached or when they take a to-be or another to-be. The prey sorters will be judged on their ability to pass the correct amount to everyone fairly. The to-bes to full prey sorters will be made to deal with a full moon of passing out prey themselves, if they mess up they will wait 1 moon until they can do it again. In that time they will receive intense training.

They are known to be strict but loving. They are also loose on mates rules; Other cats in other tribes are also acceptable as normal mates, unless the prey-hunter/prey-sorter/guard has a to-be.

They are known for having narrow paws and long claws, they also are known for having webbed paws.

ima restart because I really like this idea

The Tribe of Rolling Pebbles lives in a forest on the edge of a pebbly river bank. The bank stretches for several yards before the river begins. The river itself is very wide and has many fish. Their camp is settled between three trees. The walls are made of woven branches and bushes and the dens are mostly rocks and small bushes.

The forest contains prey like mice, squirrels, and birds. The tribe’s main predators are foxes, wolves, eagles, and some young bears.

The cats are of all shapes and sizes but the most prominent breeds are: oriental longhairs, Norwegian forest cat, domestic longhairs, domestic shorthairs, and other fluffy cats since they live in a cold climate. Any colors can be found.

The Tribe believes in three main entities. Eski the Godess of the hunt, Noko the God of war, and Siethe God of the dead.

The gods and godess protect and watch over the day to day activities of the Tribe. When a to be completed their trial, they take a trip to the Star Cave and meet their guardian (hunters Eski and guards Noko) and receive their blessing.

"I'm really nervous about assessments," admitted Dust.

"Don't be!" exclaimed Wren, swatting Dust's muzzle. "We've trained for this for so many moons that we're probably going to pass in a heartbeat."

Dust looked unconvinced. "Yeah, but what if..."

"No what-ifs here," Wren declared. "We are going to complete and pass the assessments and that's the end of it."

The dusty-brown tom sighed and gave a small smile. "Fine," he said. "I'll go to my doom willingly and with a grin."

"I swear to Starclan that it's not your doom!"

Frostteller suddenly appeared at the entrance to the cave that Dust and Wren shared with Owl and Lichen. Koi's litter shared a different cave, something that Wren was privately envious of even though she knew that it wasn't any larger. But when she and Dust had passed the assessments, they could have a cave to themselves!! She couldn't wait, although wondered if Dust would consent to instead sharing a cave. Just for the two of them.

"Are you ready?" asked Frostteller in a soft voice, dragging Wren out of her thoughts.

"Yes," said Dust, getting to his paws. "We are."

"What's training to be the next Frostteller like?" asked Dusk, fascinated.

Autumn's tail twitched. "I can't tell you the cool parts but Frostteller taught me how to hunt, which he said is always useful no matter what rank you are."

"Well," said Evening, "if you're a prey-hunter then yes. If you're a guard, it's more important to learn how to bring your enemies down. That's what Hawk said, at least."

"But hunting is still important for a Frostteller," challenged Morning, "because they need to be able to care for the entire tribe. Snow told me that if I wanted to learn how to hunt, he's not going to stop me because there might be times of need when I should know, too."

"Eh," said Evening, "we have enough prey-hunters so I don't think that we'll be worrying about that for a while."

"Regardless," interjected Autumn, "I can't tell you much. Sorry."

"That's okay!" said Dawn, nuzzling her sister and littermate. "Did Frostteller take you to the Ancient Stones yet?" Her eyes were wider than usual in excitement.

"Not yet, but he says soon."

"Tell us all about it. Please!" Dusk, Evening, and Morning nodded with agreement.

"I'll ask if I can!" replied Autumn with a shy smile.

"Yeah!!"
