Wind blowing a leaf, you can find the white and black tom high upon a tree or rock. A mouse missed by his clanmates runs under him, he will hide within a bush until it is caught. He won't talk to anyone about why he is like this, but many chalk it up to his former life as a kittypet, and his fear of the world.

Prompt: Left alone, by either a twoleg, or a mother, Pinepaw was found as a small kit, mewling for food and warmth as the hard long winter months were starting. No scent surrounded her, besides that of the pine tree above her. Taken in by the clan, they looked on in more horror, as the small kit they found showed signs of having been mauled by a much larger cat. A small, helpless kit, attacked, and left by someone who should have been there for her. As she grew, the clan grew to love her too. But the scars did not heal to their best potential, and she is now left with them, as a haunting reminder that something or someone is out there, looking to get her.
