It has been a long time coming, the donating of the fabled "F" magnoot. Pavo has kept it safe on its fridge for a millennia (or at least it feels like it) after JP's excited reaction over it, but gee...wouldn't something so valuable be best in more capable paws?
Pavo nudges it over with its other loot gently, a somewhat shy look on its face. Hiii, curator...
The Museum Curator doesn't seem to be here today. Instead, they find his wife set up at his usual desk. Barely a head poking over the top. So small... "Howdy!" she says with a big toothy grin and a whap of her tail. "Don't mind the change of scenery! We had a big find come in and well-- he's got bit by wanderlust--" she rolls her eyes and takes the offered valuables, barely holding back a snort of a laugh when she's handed the letter F. "He's going to be thrilled, you know? This stupid thing is an inside joke in the artifact circles. Remember to pick up your badge on the way out!"

==> [Donate to the Museum Curator]
aristotle walks into the museum, glancing about, nervous but curious and excited. beside him, bepis is practically jittering. brian needed to go home and rest if he wanted to be able to continue exploring the secret paths they'd found tomorrow, so it's up to aristotle and bepis to find the curator and tell him
what aristotle had found !
They don't need to look far. Seems like someone must have beat them back here to tell him of the news. They don't know who, though. They
are the first Certified Adventurers to find the sign, after all. And yet, here the Curator is, all dressed up in hiking gear, a backpack pushed to one side.
"There you lot are!" he says, bounding toward his pack to shoulder it. "No, no. Don't ask how I already know. Just call it a hunch," he winks and throws a wave back over his shoulder to his wife. "Come'on, then! Explorer's Guild first, you gotta help us pin it on the map, after all. Maybe name it after one of yall, if you want."
The Explorer's Guild isn't too far from the museum, even less when you're struggling to keep up with a man that has no right to be moving as fast as he is. Soon enough, you're pushing through the gate at the back of the building and being ushered into a large shed; filled wall to wall with various maps and photos and inscriptions. You think you even spot some photos of the Furless, sat huddled beside beardogs. Strange...
"Didn't he say there were three of them?" a beardog says, looking toward the Curator and you two. "Nevermind that. Come here. Tell us where you found it. Or near enough to, anyways. We can work out the rest." You point on the map to the place that feels right. Retraced steps and all that. "And you're sure it was signed by him?" the beardog asks and makes the shape of... well a rough kind of door. You nod. You'd seen the little door marking. "Okay. Good. Okay. You lot go get some rest now. We'll find where this was n set a perimeter nd' some guides. Good job you two-- err, three. Wherever your other friend is."
The two of them are free to stay in the Explorer's Guild shed, but the folks in there are busy with other things, rushing about gathering up tools and maps and papers. Best they head home. On their way out of the building, under the cover of a darkened alley, they think they spy what looks to be... a gizmo. A very large gizmo. But a sound behind them from the shed spooks them and when they look back, the creature is gone. How odd. And more than a little terrifying.
