She collected feathers resembling them and always held them with her to remember the good memories.

History softbreeze was born in a large litter to a kittypet named lana who had fallen in love with a loner named novak who wanted nothing to do with the kits after their birth, despite this lana never bad-mouthed novak and was honest with her kit, telling them all about their father if they asked. when softbreeze was roughly 10 moons he got the bright idea to go look for his father, slipping out a cracked window in the dead of night softbreeze set out to find novak however the young tom was soon lost in the vast territory that stretched out behind his mother's twoleg den. He tried to find his way home but seemed to just get even more lost, after a few days with little to no food softbreeze collapsed near an apple orchard where he was found the next day by a patrol of cats; they brought him back to their home where he was cared for and eventually accepted into the clan, he was given softpaw as his new name due to his sweet and shy personality. He trained hard and learned fast thanks to his mentor gorsefoot and was soon made a warrior of appleclan, his former mentor has recently passed due to illness.

History Mantiswing, or at the time Mantis, was born a Loner. The runt of the litter, he was often left out in the games his siblings played and often stayed close to his mother, Mouse. She would tell him all kinds of stories, but his favorites were the ones from her life being part of a clan. To Mantis, a clan just seemed like a large family, and he loved that idea. Mantis’s father was a kittypet, turning Mouse away once he found out she was pregnant. So it had just been them and their mother for many moons. When Mantis was around 4 moons old, disaster struck.
The family was playing out near the tree they called home. Mantis would always stay the closest to the den, scared of the outside world. He watched as his siblings play fought, his mother giving them pointers in the shade. That’s when Mantis saw movement out of the corner of his eye. Within mere seconds, both kits had been clutched in the talons of a hawk. With a blood curdling yowl, Mouse took off after the hawk, leaping into the air but barely touching the tail feathers of the swift creature. However she didn’t give up, the she-cat followed the hawk, leaving a horrified Mantis behind. Mantis hid himself in the den, curled in a tight ball and waited. And waited. And waited. Mantis waited until his stomach couldn’t take it anymore. His mother wasn’t coming back. No one was. Hungry, scared and alone, Mantis left his family den. Not knowing how to hunt, the kit stumbled around helpless looking for food. That’s when the cats of Appleclan found him and took him in, raising him as their own.

Insight:beetlenose is a surprisingly cautious cat and doesn't like being surprised or underestimating others, she believes that would be the most embarrassing thing that one could endure. she is quick on her feet and can solve a problem while it's in it's first stages before it even develops into a real problem; bettlenose, while menacing at times, is a cat that others look up to in some areas. admired for her perseverance, intelligence, and initiative to dirty her paws so that other's don't have to; the short shecat is an esteemed member of the clan who will do her part and then some. well, as long as it seems like it could benefit her in the long run. the dark, brooding exterior aside, the mysterious feline is a quiet cat deep down, one who honestly doesn't like voicing her problems aloud to others. in the end she is a shecat who is more likely to show how much someone means to her through actions then words.

History beetlenose was born and raised in the clan, as a young warrior she was attacked by a fox while out hunting; she managed to chase it off but sustained a few devastating wounds, the most prominent ones being on her face and hip. despite the seriousness of her wounds beetlenose managed to pull through and recover, however she was left with a permanent limp and blind in her left eye; a few of her clanmates suggested she retire to the elders den due to this but she wouldn't go for it.
