The Ghost River pack is a mysterious group. Their territory is cold, often snowy and rarely warm, even in Summer. A great, wide and powerful river runs straight through their land. It is almost never frozen over, due to its speed, and is usually full of salmon and chunks of ice.
The northern 2/3 of the territory is made up of coniferous forest, thick and dark. Many animals hide in here for shelter, so it's the wolves' preferred hunting ground and also where their den is located. The southern third is pretty bleak. Dead meadows that had long since been frozen over are home to the smaller animals who are built for the cold, like arctic hares.

The wolves themselves are average in size, but are muscly to carry themselves and all the extra fluffy fur that they have to insulate them. Their fur is usually pale, like white or grey, but they have the odd black wolf. Generally, they don't have rich, warm colours in their fur.

As a pack, they are cunning and wise. They use their heads very carefully to make decisions and are tactical in battle and hunting. They are virtually never spontaneous, which sometimes leads to them missing opportunities, but usually keeps them safe. They love to tell stories and are constantly making up all sorts of tales and myths. Individuals are often very quiet, and they like to be in tune with their souls. They observe, they don't take action and are very spiritual and zen, until it comes to battle. Their quiet stillness alongside their pale colours gives them the impression of being ghosts, which is why they have the name Ghost River Pack.

Wrenclan have made their home among light forests. The territory is sparsely covered with bushes and young trees in some places, whilst in other places the young oaks and ash trees are growing densely together. A thin stream runs straight through the middle of the territory, and had no real purpose to the cats. There are numerous crossing points where trees have fallen or hand over, or the water is shallow enough for wading. The grass grows long where the trees are few and there are many wildflowers that take advantage of the open spaces, meaning that many seed-eating birds live in this area. Small birds are Wrenclan's main source of prey, due to their regularity.

The cats themselves are generally quite lean. Their sizes range widely, as they have some who are super small and are used to get at birds up high, and some that are very large who are used in battle. All of them, however, are extremely talented climbers and can climb cliffs and trees at double the speed of most cats, thanks to their strong legs and agile frames. They are mostly made up of dark or richly coloured cats with short fur, with very few that aren't. Wrenclan cats are very down to earth and honest, using their hearts to make decisions. They can easily be trusted, but won't always be quick to trust others. They prefer to do things without help from other clans and most other clans see them as independent or even as loners, but they don't shy away from the opportunity to make allies. Their loyalty means that they are valuable allies, but if you became enemy to them than they would hate you relentlessly, and wouldn't rest until they feel you've had all the hostility you deserve as a clan.

During leafbare their territory can become prey to snow, since it has many thinly grown areas. These seasons are the worst for Wrenclan, as their dark fur makes hunting hard and the unprotected herbs from the meadows die from the frost. However, in greenleaf the clan thrives. Birds are all around and herbs are plentiful and varied. In fact, they often have other clans asking for their herbs. The views from outside camp, which is set in the middle of the territory in a particularly thickly wooded area, are spectacular all year round and many cats spend a lot of time just sitting and watching, admiring the beauty of the gentle hills that roll out in front of them, dotted with a range of trees and flowers and alive with birds, bugs and sometimes even deer.

In summary, they are well known for being useful when needed, but also for not ever appearing to need other clans. But they know it's out of stubbornness, not skill. Quite trustworthy, but also dangerous when betrayed. They never forgive or forget. They have one of the most beautiful territories, but it can be ruthless in leafbare. Good for borrowing herbs from and will never trick you. Good at tree climbing.

Pumastar is leader and founder of her clan, Wrenclan. Before she set up the clan, she was a rogue who wandered around the territory which now belongs to her clan. She was always aware of the other clans and decided, after an encounter with Starclan, that she wanted in. She marked out the borders and so Wrenclan began.

Pumastar is an energetic, optimistic cat. As a leader she always sees the bright sides of situations, unless they're to do with socialising with other clans. She always gets worried that she'll give the clan a reputation for being loners, so she tries to avoid by forcing herself to socialize. Her clanmates see her as a kind, understanding leader who will forgive you for your mistakes, but not for your crimes. Her main skill is climbing, which is the main skill of her clan. She is one of the fastest climbers in her clan, but is not a confident swimmer.

This single cat is still looking for a mate. She wants someone who will listen to her when she wants to rant and expense herself, and not someone who will try to boss her around and help her with things she can do herself. A cat who sees she is capable and independent. She isn't sure if she wants kits.

Edur, along with his mate, founded their pack: the Ghost River Pack. He came from a powerful pack a long way south of their current territory, but dispersed. He came across Oribel's pack's territory and met her. They got to know eachother and Oribel chose to leave with him. They travelled for weeks until they found the perfect territory.

Edur is a calm male. He isn't very loud, but has a powerful aura which wolves can recognize early on meeting him. He will do anything to protect his pack and especially his mate, including sacrifice himself in battle. Sometimes he comes across as moody. Deep down he is sweet and protective.

His relationship with Oribel is very strong. He sees her as a precious part of his life, which he never wants to lose. Although he's not very good at romantic acts, he lets her know he loves her in his own little ways. Sometimes he teases her, but only lightheartedly.

Oribel was not happy in her pack. She was the last born of the third litter of the alphas, so was practically the least respected member. Life was tough, and she didn't like the heat of their territory. The pack were extremely strict and all the males were stuck up and mean. One day she met Edur, and he showed her that he was tough and caring, yet also fun when he wanted to be. He was exactly what she wanted in a mate so she didn't think twice about dispersing and starting a pack in a colder, more suited territory.

She likes to think over her actions carefully. She's not particularly spontaneous, and plans things out. When she does make a decision, she sticks by it and hates being wrong. If she is wrong, she won't admit it but will just go along with who's right. She loves running and exercising, especially playing with her packmates which is something she didn't really get to do in her old pack. She doesn't really hold grudges.

She loves Edur with all her heart. The only wolf who every showed her as much affection and kindness as he was her mother. She feels they balance eachother out and are the perfect pair, and never wants to part with him. She trusts him, but also hates being biased around by him.
