Powers:
- Sleep manipulation. Can manipulate dreams and nightmares. Capable of dreamwalking.
- Sleepy aura projection.
- Astral projection.
- Morphing. Like their father, EJ can change their shape. However, they can only appear as a humanoid - they can't change into squirrels or four legged animals. At the moment, they can only change a few features, and they can't hold the shift up for more than an hour.

Physical Description
Emerson has olive skin, absolutely smattered with freckles, and messy dark brown curls that are often pulled back out of their face. They stand at about five foot six and weigh about one hundred and forty pounds, on the softer side. They have round features, brown eyes with perpetual bags under them, and an aquiline nose. They enjoy wearing baggy, comfortable clothes, and have no obvious style. They nails are painted black.

Personality & Background
Emerson is a fairly lazy, easygoing person. If they don't have to do something, then they probably wouldn't. They're a perpetually tired person, always in need of more sleep, and move like they're a sloth. Emerson takes the easygoing approach in life, just letting it ride. Their easygoing attitude makes them someone easy to confide too, because they never care enough to spill someone's secrets. Though they have a difficult time forming attachments to people, Emerson really does mean well. They like to spend time with the people they care about, even if they're fairly quiet for the most of it. They're a very hard person to read, due to their poker face and control over their emotions.

Emerson's mother was a famous artist, who made art at her whims. She passed away when Emerson was seven, due to an illness. They don't really remember what it was like to live with her. Afterwards, Emerson was bundled up and sent to live with her spinster sister, who was entirely unaware of their demigod heritage. Though his aunt, Belle, is kind, it's clear she never wanted kids, and she tries her best with them, she really does, but there are certain things she doesn't understand about Emerson, like their loose relationship with gender.

Shortly before the summer started, a satyr found them at school, revealing their true heritage to them. This satyr encouraged his aunt to send them to Camp Half Blood this summer, to learn how to control their budding powers and protect themselves.
Traits: Easygoing, lazy, quiet, calm, insomniac, selfish.
Likes: Napping, horror stories, writing, peppermint tea, folk songs, stargazing, animals.
Dislikes: Being woken up in the middle of a nap, screaming, loud noises, fights.
Fears: Snakes.
Fatal Flaw: Their laziness.

Personal Relationships
Astra - Their deceased mother. She died when Emerson was seven, and they don't really remember her.
Bella - Their aunt. It's clear she loves them, but she doesn't understand some fundamental parts about them. After learning about their true heritage, their shapeshifting ability started to manifest, which freaked her out and drove a rift between the two.
Hypnos - Emerson's father. At this point in time, they are unaware of who their father is.

Nimble - Their pet cat. Emerson brought her with them when they came to camp.

Also @nyctomancy, I feel like Astren meeting Hank will be interesting, as Hank's probably gonna think that he's a new camper (because he looks different/has a different name than last year), and be really confused as to why he already has two beads? Unless you have a different idea, I think that that might be fun to rp out? Let me know what you think!
