At first, Ember is an intimidating cat, large broad-shouldered, and with long and thick fur. Not to mention the toms rather placid way of going about things. Truth be told, Emberpuddle is a rather slender cat, it's just that his long fur is rather fluffy and refuses to be tamed. Not that he cares about that anyway. His fur is a mess of shades of gingers, mostly on the darker spectrum, this is because his coat is brindled with dark ginger, and an added darker ginger tabby stripes. Though there is a white lining or a white underside in this case. His undersides, cheeks, ankles, and paws are all white, he even has white eyebrow-like markings above his eyes. Ember was named after his coat, but he always found that his eyes were like amber flames, which he loves. The tom has a single scar, a torn right ear that he got from his days as a loner.

Ember was originally born as Ember, to a former medicine cat by the name of Puddleheart. She'd fallen in love with an enemy clan tom by the name of Russetstorm. She was both horrified and in awe of this, and in her own desperation, left the clan. Thankfully her former mentor, was still around to take care of the clan. Ember was only vaguely told about his father only that he had his coloring. Once his mother died, Ember sook out the clans, and while he was originally aiming to join his father in Lightningclan, things didn't go as planned. He'd accidentally caused a border fight, racing across from another clan's territory, and ended up with a torn ear and tending to the wounded cats that would soon be his clan-mates. Somehow the previous medicine cat - his mother's old mentor and soon to be his - saw something in him and convinced Smokestar to allow him to join. Emberpuddle only recently became a fully-fledged medicine cat due to his mentor's death.

Hazeshade is a regal-looking feline with a thin build, made for speed and agility. Her fur is short and close to the skin but thick. While her fur is dominantly white, she has a few splatterings of brown coloring her coat. She has an angular face, defined cheekbones, and large ears. Her eyes are mostly green in color but have a yellow-amber hue around the center. Her nose and paw pads are a soft pink color. Because of her age and previous ranks she has a few scars that are easily seen because of her short fur. One scar stretches across her chest, another up one hind leg giving her a slight limp, and another decorates the back of her neck. These and a few less noticeable scars make her a rather intimidating force to be reckoned with when she's grouchy.

Hazeshade was born with three other siblings, two brothers, and a sister. Hazekit and her brother, Pikefang were the two middle kits, Tigerkit being the oldest and Snowkit being the youngest. Their parents were respected warriors within the clan, and she and her siblings had normal kithoods. Hazepaw's time as an apprentice, was also relatively normal, though it awakened her competitive streak. She was around eleven moons old when Cloudedkit became an apprentice. The younger tom was, odd. He'd been found just inside the clan territory a few moons before and had been - rather cruelly in her opinion - named Cloudedkit after they came to find that he was partially blind. The two apprentices took to each other like fish to water and often hung out when they weren't training. This friendship soon turned romantic after she became a warrior, though they didn't become for quite a few more seasons.
Hazeshade gained her first apprentice rather young, only twenty-one moons old, a young tom named Gullpaw. After Gullpaw became a warrior, she and Cloudedmask had their first litter. She enjoyed watching her kits grow into apprentices and then warriors. She gained her second apprentice just two moons after her first litter became apprentices. This pattern followed for many seasons. Hazeshade mentored a total of six apprentices and had three litters in between. Her mate Cloudedmask died a few days before their last litter was born. Said last litter was of only one kit, a little tom-kit that was a perfect mix of mother and father. Hazeshade spoiled her youngest rotten, which came back to bite her in the rump. Three moons after he had earned the warrior name of Cloudheart. Hazeshade retired shortly after due to her failing sight.

Brief History (Optional): Hazeshade had led an exceptional life, mentored four apprentices, and even found love. Her first litter consisted of Rootfang, Mistpool, and Pineflower, her second Shrewtooth, and Splashpelt, her last was born not long after her mate died, and she named her one little kit in his honor, Cloudheart. Now as an elder, Hazeshade gets to enjoy watching her kits and grandkits grow and thrive.

Snake-eye is a blend of her parents, long-limbed, sharp-pointed ears along with a long and thin snake-like tail. Her fur is short but thick and has a golden-brown hue much like her mother's. The fur on her chin and cheeks is a milky white color, and her coat is marked with dark donut-like Bengal tabby markings. Snakes' eyes are a pale and frosty color that no one cat really tell if it's blue or green, so most just settle with a blue-green hue. She has snort and thin whiskers, fine and delicate paws with unusually long claws.

Snake-eye, born to a warrior by the name of Hawkthroat and a queen named Amberpetal. She along with her siblings had a rather normal life just up until she was about four moons old. Her parents had gotten into an argument about duties and responsibility, Amberpetal had wanted to go on a romantic walk after moons of being kept up in the nursery looking after their kits. Hawkthroat didn't think that was a good idea, as there had been sightings of fox around. The argument got blown out of proportion, and in the end, Amberpetal left camp to cool off some steam. She didn't return that night, and the next morning she was found by a patrol. The clan's medicine cat found that she'd been killed by a fox. Her father disappeared one night a moon or so after she and her siblings became apprentices. Because of this Snake-eye threw herself into training and closed herself off to all but a few. She earned her warrior name after saving a kit from a hawk when she was just under twelve moons old.

Aiken takes after his father when it comes to his physical features, a large broad body, long and thick fur. His blue-gray fur is something he inherited from his mother, along with a darker version of her blue eyes. That being said he has a few similarities that he shares with his uncles, though they are minor. Aiken is a polydactyl, having five toes on his back paws, six on his right front leg, and seven on his left front paw. The tom has quite a few scars for a cat his age, nicked ears, one across his back, one on his white leg, and another across his right eye, partially blinding him.

Dewsplash has, for the most part, lived a normal life in Lightningclan. If you don't count his intense rivalry with his siblings and his dismissive nature towards almost everything. His rivalry with his siblings started at a young age, around three moons old, when Goldenfang, previously a rogue known as Leo, decided that his time was best spent paying attention to Leopardmask, Lionstep, and Tigerdawn, who were at the time called Leopardkit, Lionkit, and Tigerkit. The tom decided that these three kits would be the best in the clan. Leopardkit would be the best hunter in the clan, and the clan's savior in leaf-bare. Lionkit would be the strongest cat in the clan, and almost single pawed beat back Darkclan. Tigerkit would be the leader of the three, the leader the planner, the smartest and wisest. While those more emotionally removed from the family could see that it was just hopes and dreams, along with some encouragement. To Dewkit and his other siblings, they were essentially abandoned by their father. Cinderkit retreated into herself, and Rosekit became rather aggressive with everyone but their mother. Dewkit though decided to prove his father wrong. So he practiced his hunting skills, stalking leaves, tails, and moss balls. Tussled with other kits, learned basic battle moves from younger apprentices and listened to stories that the elders provided.
As apprentices, the same thing continued. Leopardpaw grew arrogant and sneered. Lionpaw while not arrogant grew distant, and Tigerpaw did her best to keep the siblings together while doing her best to earn their father's praise. Cinderpaw didn't speak to her siblings outside training but threw herself into said training. Rosepaw did as well, sneering at quite literally everyone. It wasn't until their father's death a moon before earning their warrior names did the six siblings grow closer. That being said, things are still strained, and Dewsplash is still trying to prove himself to his now-dead father.
