She is very friendly and loving, she does love to cheer other dogs up and make sure they are okay. She attends to be a friend to everyone, not wanting to get on there bad side. Mika likes to roam, she isn't very still as she likes to keep guard and make sure everything is secure from danger, she highly alert of her surroundings to make sure nothing goes wrong. She isn't very good around strangers as she is just protecting herself and anyone around her but once getting to know the dog she will start to accept him/her. You'll need to try and earn her trust as well. Also she is loyal to the pack as well. If she is around a flirty type of dog, she might be flirting with you although she might be just teasing you. Although she has her playful puppy side, she is mature in some cases and is motherly as well but this attends to be around when other are down or had enough of being playful.
xxxxOn patrol she is likes to go every hour or so to check the pack was safe. She all so has a motherly side so she tends to be around the pups if unattended and she also there for others if they are upset or whatnot. Mika hardly sleeps, just because she's highly alert she doesn't want any harm coming to the pack. Also she doesn't really like thunderstorms and tends to hide away.

Meet Bluejay, a three year old female Border Collie who loves to run. Bluejay is a Scout for the Lost Pack, and is fairly happy with her rank. Bluejay is an active, lively and determined dog who does her best to serve her pack. She is very close to her brother, Chase, and so can often be found by his side. Out of the two, Bluejay is the quieter one and often looks to her brother to determine whether someone is trustworthy. Bluejay's skills lie in her speed, agility, and stamina. Some may say that these skills would make her a better Hunter than a Scout, however Bluejay enjoys investigating things and exploring, and so much prefers the role of a Scout. A few weaknesses are her strength and ability to swim. Though Bluejay can swim, it is only for short amounts of time, and even then she is far from the strongest swimmer.

Before joining the Lost Pack, Bluejay lived with two longpaws in a fairly small house situated on a very busy street. She was the only pet, so got all of the attention from the longpaws, however she constantly missed her brother, who when born had gone to live with different longpaws. She would sit in the window, hoping that one day she may see him, though her efforts were pointless. Her longpaws were good owners; they never mistreated her, and she was always well looked after. The life of a pet didn't appeal to Bluejay, she longed to roam the streets and adventure, something she couldn't do under the watchful eye of the longpaws. It wasn't until the big growl that she did finally get the freedom she was craving, and though there are days when she misses her longpaws, the freedom she now has seems to numb the pain.

Bluejay was reunited with her brother not long after the big growl. She had found him when searching among the rubble for scraps, and to begin with she thought she was hallucinating. Since then, the two seems inseparable, perhaps out of fear of losing one another again.

This here is Chase, a three year old Border Collie who is the brother of Bluejay. Chase serves as a Hunter to the Lost Pack, a rank which he loves and one which suits him well. Being very fast and agile, Chase can keep up with small prey and turn sharply if needed, or can keep up a chase for a long time due to his stamina. Chase is more vocal than his sister, and is glad to give his opinion on anything being discussed, whether that opinion be positive or negative. He is one to make decisions, thinking them through thoroughly and planning ahead, however he is also very serious and can sometimes appear distant.He is also very protective over his sister.
Before the big growl, Chase belonged to three longpaws. He was taken by them when he was a puppy, bought off the longpaws who owned him before that. It was then that he was separated from his sister, and would only see her again after the big growl. In the meantime, Chase spent his days outside in the longpaw's garden, as he was rarely allowed into the house after accidentally breaking an expensive set of china by knocking it over with his tail. He still got plenty of attention, though the incident meant that when the big growl came around, he wasn't exactly sorry to say goodbye to his longpaws.

You're going to save them all. The little boy pointed at the dog in his picture book,
the wrinkled page illuminated by a previously confiscated flashlight. The dog
standing on top of the skyscraper, adorned in a red cape, certainly looked like
Essex, with its mottled fur and stoic expression. So how could he argue, cuddled up
to his best friend underneath the familiar blanket?

His fate was decided for him. Essex would be a hero, rescuing those in need. Except
that his best friend is gone now, leaving the disorganized dog in a mess of trouble.
Essex searched the rubble for days in an attempt to be that hero. All he managed
was to find the once beloved book.

To keep his mission in the front of his mind, he carries the tattered thing with him
wherever he goes. And while he searches the city for dogs in trouble, he keeps an
eye out for that little boy who made him feel at home.
