However they are now cut off from Starclan with no place to contact them and the clan is utterly alone and lost. Some rules are made to be broken....
➤ Medicine cats are not to have mates or kits.
➤ Rogues and loners are no longer welcome within the clan.
➤ Relationships with cats outside the clan are forbidden.
➤ Kits, no matter their origin, are to be protected.
➤ Patrols should have no less than 3 cats.
➤ Do not leave camp alone.
➤ Any cat younger than 10 moons may not go on dawn or dusk patrol.
➤ Stay away from the cave at the edge of the territory...

Those who do not remember the past...

Before there was even the thought of Nightclan, there was Snowclan and Pineclan, two clans who had lived in harmony with each other and the local loners and kittypets. They lived with little to no strife other than the occasional predator or rogue who caused trouble for the groups. They were watched over by Starclan and prospered.

That was until the rogues attacked. They had formed a group that had overpowered both clans and killed off the leaders Larkstar of Snowclan and Juniperstar of Pineclan. They killed as many cats as they could, taking the territories for their own. Lead by Nightwhisper, a group of survivors escaped further north, away from the rogues. Before leaving the survivors insisted that Nightwhisper visit with Starclan at the Moon Tree to gain her nine lives. She did, but at the cost of the lives of a few of the survivors. After that they escaped away.

Now that Leaf-bare is beginning to sink it's claws into the land, the clan must hunker down and try to survive.

Nightstar would poke her head out of her den, a yawn escaping her jaws as she would look at the dawn sky lighting up slowly, the crisp bare-leaf wind cutting through her fur. A shiver would run up her spine as she would pad out into the clearing, glancing around as her clanmates would be waking up. She’d head towards the meeting rock and leap up, waiting on patrols, hoping to go out herself to warm herself up in the bitter cold.

Bramblefrost would let out a soft whine as he’d turn over in his nest. “Couldn’t Silentshadow pick someone else for Dawnpatrol” he’d groan softly, sitting up slowly. Shaking the moss out of his fur, he’d stand up and carefully pick his way through his clanmates. He’s make sure to be careful of stray tails or paws as he’d make his way to the exit, the harsh freezing wind hitting him as he’d poke his head out. He’d scrunch up his face and let out a sigh before making his way over to the meeting rock, letting out a yawn as he’d sit and cover his paws with his tail.

The cream colored molly fixated her gaze on the clan’s leader. She didn’t bother to move from the entrance of her den, as she could hear and watch the clan from where she was. Birchpelt flicked her tail as she kept her gaze on Nightstar: the way Nightstar had become since the battle was nerve racking for Birchpelt. The molly desperately wanted to trust her leader, but something in the back of her mind kept her from fully following in her paw steps.

Birchpelt and Nightstar’s eyes locked for a moment, causing Birchpelt to freeze for a quick second before motioning the leader to come sit by her. She knew it’d be a little while before all of the clan was awake and ready for the day. The cream colored molly was already cursing at herself for even beckoning Nightstar to come sit with her, but she felt obligated to after locking eyes with her.

“Dear StarClan!” Juniperstep groaned loudly as he stretched from awakening from a not so great slumber. The poor tom was quite short-coated and lanky, leaving little fur and meat on his bones to keep him insulated: he was freezing. Juniperstep rose from his nest, shaking off the moss and leaves he had gathered for it off his fur. He slowly walked up to the entrance of the warrior den, daring not to step any further than there, as he was quite cold. He flicked his tail in annoyance as he sat down, leaning against the side of the rocks that made the entrance to try to keep warmth.
