The forest has always been alive much, much, much longer than you or I. These are words many kits have heard a thousand times before. The forest is always changing, shifting, growing, and dying. Yet, something is starting to change, new smells that send even the strongest warrior on edge. Sounds no one recognizes, something is wrong. Timberclan and Creekclan have always had there differences, but now, as a new prophecy comes from Starclan, they must make a decision to either work together or struggle alone.

Clan Description: Timber Clan thrives in the dense forests nestled within the towering mountains. Their cats are built for strength and agility, with muscular legs and sharp claws that allow them to expertly navigate rocky cliffs and towering trees. The cats of Timber Clan are known for their incredible climbing skills, using the trees not only for hunting but also for scouting and defensive maneuvers. The mountain’s harsh terrain and ever-changing weather have made Timber Clan resilient and tough, able to survive in conditions that would challenge others.

Timber Clan has a deep connection with the forest, relying on their environment for everything from shelter to camouflage. They are masters of hunting in dense undergrowth, often stalking prey from the treetops or rocky ledges. They have an intricate understanding of the landscape and can blend into their surroundings with ease. The Clan values stealth, patience, and intelligence, preferring to outmaneuver their enemies and prey rather than relying on brute force alone.

Territory Description: Timber Clan's territory stretches across the rugged mountains and dense forests. The forest is filled with towering pine trees, their thick trunks offering ample opportunities for climbing. Below, a blanket of pine needles muffles the sound of footsteps, providing natural camouflage. The terrain is uneven, with steep rocky outcroppings and cliffs that require careful navigation.

The landscape is dotted with streams that flow down from the mountain peaks, providing fresh water and attracting prey like deer, rabbits, and squirrels. The forest is also home to birds of prey and larger animals like mountain lions, which Timber Clan must stay vigilant against.

Wildflowers bloom in the clearings during the warmer months, but winters can be harsh, with snow covering the ground and making hunting more challenging. Despite the challenges of the environment, Timber Clan thrives by working together and relying on their strengths.

Camp Description: Timber Clan's camp is a natural fortress, carefully chosen for its defensibility and proximity to vital resources. The camp is located in a secluded clearing surrounded by tall, thick trees and rocky outcroppings, which act as a natural barrier against intruders. The trees’ high branches and interwoven canopies provide excellent cover, while the rocks form a protective wall on one side of the camp, sheltering it from harsh winds and providing shade.

The dens are skillfully constructed using the environment. Some dens are formed within hollowed-out tree trunks, while others are nestled between large boulders or within crevices of the rocky walls. Moss and pine needles line the dens, making them comfortable yet sturdy.

In the center of the camp lies a spacious clearing where the Clan gathers for meetings and meals. A large, flat rock at the edge of the clearing serves as the leader’s perch during Clan meetings. Cats can often be seen climbing the trees that encircle the camp, keeping watch or honing their climbing skills.

The camp is well-hidden, blending seamlessly into the forest. Only those familiar with the territory can find the narrow entrance, a small gap between the rocks and trees. This makes the camp nearly impossible to find or invade by outsiders, ensuring the safety of Timber Clan.

Key Areas within the Camp:

◎ Leader's Den is located near the flat rock, sheltered by a cluster of boulders and overlooking the central clearing.
◎ Warriors' Den is a series of dens in the base of trees and rocky crevices, large enough to house the clan's skilled fighters.
◎ Apprentice's Den is a smaller den made from entwined tree roots and branches.
◎ Medicine Cat’s Den is situated near a freshwater stream, the medicine cat’s den is nestled in a cave-like formation between rocks, stocked with herbs from the forest.
◎ Elders' Den is a cozy, well-protected spot beneath a fallen tree, lined with soft moss for comfort.
◎ Nursery is safely located in the most secluded part of the camp, the nursery is formed from a hollowed-out tree trunk, ensuring the kits and queens are kept warm and safe from predators.

In Timber Clan, the wilderness is both home and ally, and every cat plays a vital role in keeping the Clan strong and united.

Strengths: Strong swimmers, expert at hunting aquatic prey and navigating wetlands
Weaknesses: Vulnerable on dry land, at a disadvantage in steep or rugged terrain

Clan Description: Creek Clan is a formidable group of cats who have mastered life along the rivers and creeks flowing from the mountains. Their territory is rich with water sources, and Creek Clan cats are known for their remarkable swimming ability and their unmatched skill at hunting aquatic creatures. With strong, sleek bodies and water-resistant fur, these cats are built for the water, thriving where other clans would struggle.

Creek Clan places a high value on adaptability and resourcefulness. They are experts at reading water currents, tracking prey along the riverbanks, and navigating through fast-flowing streams. While they are primarily hunters of fish and waterfowl, Creek Clan cats are also known to take advantage of the small mammals that frequent the river’s edge. They are quick, precise hunters with a reputation for being calm and calculating, always moving with purpose.

The rivers and creeks are teeming with life—fish, frogs, waterfowl, and even the occasional otter can be found in abundance. Creek Clan has a deep connection to the water, and their ability to read the currents and move through the water swiftly gives them an advantage over other clans in their territory.

Camp Description: Creek Clan's camp is located on a small island formed by the splitting of two rivers, creating a natural moat that surrounds the camp. The island is accessible via shallow areas where the water is low and easy to cross, but the water’s natural defense keeps most predators and intruders at bay. Willow trees drape over the camp, providing shade and protection from the elements.

The camp is well-hidden among the reeds and underbrush that line the island. The dens are crafted from woven reeds, grasses, and branches, which help blend into the marshy landscape. The ground is soft, made of a mixture of sand, dirt, and moss, creating a comfortable resting place for the clan. The central area of the camp is dry, though surrounded by water, giving it a peaceful, secluded feel.

In times of high water, the camp is designed to withstand flooding. Elevated dens and escape routes through the shallower parts of the rivers ensure that the clan can remain safe and dry even during storms. Creek Clan cats are always prepared for sudden shifts in their environment and know how to move quickly if necessary.

◎ Apprentice's Den is a smaller den near the water’s edge, perfect for apprentices who are still learning to navigate both land and water.
◎ Medicine Cat’s Den is located in a well-protected hollow at the base of a tree, the medicine cat’s den is lined with herbs stored in small pools of water that keep them fresh.
◎ Elders' Den is nestled near the center of camp, the elders’ den is a dry, warm area formed from a tangle of tree roots and reeds.
◎ Nursery is positioned on the highest ground in the camp, the nursery is a safe haven for queens and kits, built from dense, interwoven reeds to keep it dry and warm.
Territorial Challenges: Creek Clan is vigilant about defending their water sources, knowing that control of the rivers is essential to their survival. They are wary of Timber Clan’s warriors, who sometimes venture near the rivers for fresh water or during border patrols. While Timber Clan cats are adept at hunting in the forests, Creek Clan’s water-based lifestyle gives them an edge in their territory. However, during droughts or flooding, the balance of power between the two clans can shift, making Creek Clan particularly cautious of natural changes.

For Creek Clan, water is both a gift and a challenge. They have become experts at living with the changing flow of the rivers, and their resilience and adaptability make them a force to be reckoned with in the wetlands at the base of the mountains.
