- Lions have lived in the Acacia savanna region for as long as the oldest story can tell. There was once a central pride that ruled over the entire savanna, the leader was named Hami, and his mate was Zena and they produced a son called Akbar. The old king was killed mysteriously when a fire raked the savanna. Akbar alone was responsible for his death, as he had pushed him back into the flames out of spite. His mother learned of this and was killed for speaking out. Over the years Akbar's pride fell to shambles as new males came in and took apart his land and pride. He still lives on the savanna with his pride, and is still as dangerous and angered as he once was.
