Siblings of the Feather

{You find yourself standing in one of the forested areas of the Skyridge Moutain Range. You have traveled here long and far in search of a legendary tribe of winged wolves known as the Siblings of the Feather. It has been said that they have the power to speak to the animals, and are incredibly in tune with nature and all it holds. As your aching paws carry you forward, you manage to catch sight of just such a legendary wolf. He is a light grey, dainty looking wolf with piercing blue eyes and large, white wings. He looks over at you with curiosity, and sneaks over to where you stand. "Hello. My name is Swiftness of the Wind. However you may call me Wind. I live here with the Siblings in these woodlands. Are you a member of our order? If so you may come with me now. If not...you may want to give the Midlands or Lowlands a try." And with that he opened his wings and took to the skies, flying off towards what you are sure is his tribe's camp.}

The Packs
There are four packs that live within the Skyridge Mountains, the Siblings of the Feather, the Midlands Pack, the Lowlands Pack, and the Rogues of Skyridge

The Siblings of the Feather:
The Siblings are a tribe of winged wolves who live in the forested area of the mountain. They are very closely connected to nature, and do not hunt for animals like normal wolves, but instead choose to scavenge the already dead. Decisions are handled in a different way, as the tribe has no determined Alpha position, but instead an Elder and his Beta, who make ideas and present it to the tribe to vote on.
The Camp

Inside
The Siblings make their home inside a large cave in the side of the mountain. Normal wolves cannot easily get inside, due to the steep climb required to get to it. The Siblings tend to fly up to the cave rather than climb.
Within the cave there are smaller caverns. These smaller caverns function as the Healer's den and the Nursery.

The Midlands pack

The Midlands wolves live in the plains at the base of the mountains. These wolves dig holes in the ground to make their dens. Midlands wolves are often larger and more muscular. They rely on numbers and strength rather than speed when they hunt and fight. The Healer's den is hidden under a large rock and the Nursery is much larger than the personal dens. The occasional border dispute with the Lowlanders is not all that uncommon.
Their prey is mainly the deer and yaks that come to graze.

The Lowlands pack

The Lowland wolves live in a ravine on the edge of the plains. Within the ravine is a small creek. Their dens are made in the caverns in the ravine walls. Wolves in the Lowlands are typically slimmer and faster due to the lack of large prey in the ravine. Their main prey is fish from the creek, and any small animals that happen to be around.

The Rogues of Skyridge

The wolves that call themselves the Rogues of Skyridge were once members of the Siblings of the Feather. But not all wolves have what it takes to be a Sibling. Rogues either broke away or were banished from the life of scavenging and peace and made their own pack following the rules and ways of the wolves who lived outside the mountains. After they left, their feathers withered and fell off, leaving them with wings resembling those of bats and dragons. Rogues are large and strong, and generally aggressive. They are hardened to the dangers of the wilderness and they are strict with their borders. Most will track down and attack any Sibling they see flying their skies, due to deep grudges against the order that exiled them to a life of solitude. Rogues eat any animal they can kill.

The rogues have no healer, and the nursery is a hole underneath a large, dead oak. They make their dens under bushes.

Rules
All of Tess's rules apply
1. No godmodding/controlling other people's characters in any way.
2. Any excessive violence, mating or birthing must fade to black
3. Only one of your wolves may have a high rank (Leading ranks, Alpha, Beta, Elder). You may have as many wolves as you think you can handle
4. Stay active. If you don't post for a week or two without letting me know you're not going to be on beforehand I will remove you from the rp. Please do not go over 4 pages without me.
5. Your post should use the posting form and needs to have at least 2 sentences of detailed writing with proper grammar. If you are on Mobile you can skip the posting form.
6. When asked for a recap, please do so. When speaking Out of character use ( ), [ ], { } etc.
7. Please try to keep genders even. Don't be your own mate either.
8. Don't swear or curse.
If you break these repeatedly you may get kicked from the RP

Do not attack any living creature, unless it is to defend yourself or your tribe.
Pups may not swim without supervision
The word of the majority wins in votes. This may not be argued

Midlands/Lowlands pack:
Do not leave the territory
Food is to be shared
Romantic relations with any other pack is forbidden
The Alpha's word is law

Rogues of Skyridge
Protect the pack and the border at all costs
All Siblings of the Feather are your enemies, they are to be attacked on sight

Personality: Wind is a caring male who has a passion for herbs and healing. He is laid back, and doesn't panic easily, which helps to calm down his patients. He has a bad habit of sleeping a lot.
History: Wind was born into the Siblings of the feather, and throughout his pup-hood he took up an apprenticeship in order to become a healer. His mother died of deadly nightshade, which made him want to learn everything about plants and herbs so others would not make her mistake.

Personality: Masama can seem a bit rough around the edges, but he is sweet and kind if you get to know him. He has endless respect for authority figures. If given a command by a higher up, he will do it without question. He tends to be aggressive with those he is not familiar with and is very protective of his packmates.
History: Masama lived with his sister, Kilika in the Lowlands pack for most of his life, but after a scuffle with the former beta, he was exiled from the pack. He climbed the ravine and joined the Midlands pack not long after and became a fighter.

Personality: Kilika is cheerful, and enjoys being active. She's easily distracted and curious, quick to check out anything that catches her eye as interesting. She also has a healthy sense of humor and likes to joke around with her friends when the moment is right
History: Kilika was born into the Lowlands pack with Masama, and trained to be a hunter from a young age. After Masama's exile, she resolved to become strong enough to someday join him in his new pack. To this day she continues to work hard and strengthen up so the Midlanders will accept her.
