Sinfer

Using the slight confusion and debate as a distraction, Sinfer reaches out for some food as surreptitiously as he can, grabbing several plates to himself and settling down, cross-legged, on the floor to eat them. It's been a good couple of days since he's last had food that wasn't raw or burnt, and he scoffs a lot of it down in a blink of an eye.

Mei

Mei strides to the ladder leading to the ground and takes the rings two or three at a time, dropping to her feet a few yards up. She lands lithely, springing to her feet, and switches the heat sensors on her wrist on once more, going forth to seek out the new person. Her pace is quick and confident; she'll be able to reach the ship much faster than they had on their first trip to the nest.

Miles

"I remember." Miles says, almost in passing, to Ivy. He's distracted by the idea of his sister seeking out the other person. "DId they look threatening?" He asks the new Destiree simply. "Any weapons?"

Mikaelan

Mika stands behind her chair, leaning slightly on it. "Either way someone really should go after her..." She speaks softly, almost to herself, and begins to move toward the door herself.

Ivy's eyes followed Mei as she dropped out of the tree. She turned to Miles. "Is she going to find the other people? And you're asking about weapons, do you really think they'll be a threat to us?" she asked, concerned.

Miles

Miles pats Ivy's head; not in an intentionally belittling manner, but he can't reach her shoulder without bending down a bit. "She's like a cat," he pauses the shake his head at the natives. "Not like, uh, you guys. And no, no threat to us, if Mei gets a hold of them, whoever they are." He shrugs. "I was more thinking from a tactical stand point. I could always go for a new toy." He smirks.

Ivy glanced up at him when he patted her head, ready to tell him off, but she realized it was all he could reach. "How long do you think it'll take her to find them?" she asked. Miles had reassured her, but she still didn't like waiting.

Miles

Miles shrugs. "Depends on if there's a..." He chuckles, sheepish. "Mess. If not she could be back in an hour or so, more or less." He looks unbothered. "Letting her go alone saves a lot of walking and time and I'm not worried, especially if it's only one person."

Ivy sighed. "Well what do we do while we wait?" she asked, feeling restless. There wasn't a whole lot to do up in the tree, and the less climbing up and down she had to do the better.
