silas sluggishly opened his eyes, but they soon fully snapped open when he found himself waking up in an unknown place. the demon shot up into a sitting position and quickly looked down at his clothes. luckily he was still wearing his outfit from before, a oversized galaxy sweatshirt and lavender short shorts. he sighed in relief before glancing around as he got off the bed. he pulled his black and white hair into a ponytail and left his room just as sebastían walked out of the one next to his. the demon squealed in delight and lunged at the smaller male.

sebastían let out a small groan as he felt himself coming back into reality. the small male pushed himself into a sitting position before stumbling off the bed. he took a minute and took in his surroundings to see that he was in what seemed to be a hotel room. sebastían furrowed his eyebrows together and glanced down to make sure he had his clothes. he smiled a bit when he saw that he was still wearing his black tank top, oversized tan sweatshirt and his black leggings with a pair of galaxy converses on. he glanced back up and left the room only to notice his beloved friend leaving the room next to his. the 5'3 male let out a surprised yelp when his friend silas tackled him to the ground in a hug.

Elizabeth decided to try and communicate her findings to Roi and the rest of the group behind them. They're humans with powers, she said, broadcasting to everyone but Ashton and Coal. She hoped that it would reach Roi and possibly XLR, but she knew that it would at least reach Ione, Kyle, and Keelan. Roi and I can keep them in check. She hoped.

Raphael walked inside and dumped his load onto the table. It looked like one of those counters found in a hotel, but he didn't care much about what it was; just that it was there. His arms hurt, but thankfully he was used to holding large and heavy objects for a long time.

"Ah, don't worry 'bout it," he said to Kamira. "At least we'll have extra food. I can guarantee that it isn't just the three of us here! There's my sister, plus our fire-lizards, and probably a bunch of other people. Maybe their pets, too. This looks like a hotel," he said, "and I would think that people would come here until all the rooms are filled up." That sounded like a frightening thought to Raphael. So many people would be torn from their homes and lives, and would wind up here, not knowing where they were or why they were here.

Kamira Night

She frowned at the thought of more people, although it could increase thier chances of escape if all of them had powers. "Hmm... I just wanna know what we're doing here." She then muttered to herself quietly, hoping the others didn't hear. "It could possibly be SHIELD and we could be some rats in their little "science" experiment of some sorts." She didn't want the others to hear, mostly because she didn't want to poison their thoughts about SHIELD with her own personal experiences. Most people saw SHIELD as the "good guys" and look to them for hope, while she saw them as more of the "we only do what benefits us and makes us look good" type.

"A hotel, huh...?" Now that he thought about it, it did look kinda like a hotel to Callie. A very new hotel. He wondered how long it had even been here. "I-I suppose you are right..." He didn't know what to make of it. When was this place even built??

Raphael heard Kamira mumble something about a shield, and wondered what she meant. What about shields? Ah, well, he'd ask her sometime later. "So, what should we do now?" asked Raphael to both Callie and Kamira. "Should we explore this hotel," he'd decided to call it a hotel just to call it something other than "the building," "should we find some other people, or should we go back outside?" He hoped to find some other people, mainly because he wanted to find and strangle his sister for ignoring him. The other two options were okay too, because exploring the building would be useful if they ever wanted to find their way around it, and going back outside would allow them to explore more of the ghost town.

She shrugged. "Eh. Either one's fine." She just waved her hand letting Callie and Raph know that it was up to them to decide, because she really didn't care which one they did. "They're both beneficial."

❝ "All right, notify us if anything happens." Ione sent back to Elizabeth. She then looked to Keelan. "Ready?" she asked. It was probably a good time to start leaving, and she glanced around to hall to see where to go. There was the stairwell, she knew, so they could start going that way and see where the got to. And of course, if they needed, she could use her powers.
(If Keelan's RPer doesn't come on, should I just go with one of the pairs?)

❝ Akiria took a step after Vaxas as he began to walk away, beginning to reach out a hand. She stopped herself after a moment, thinking to herself, 'What's wrong with you?' How could she feel like this, with the situation back at home? Why him? And even more importantly, did he feel the same way? She shook away the thought forcefully, though was doubting what she was doing was the best. The elf just didn't know what to do. She bit her lip, turning back to the group as she tried to keep a calm expression.

Vaxas returns after sometime has passed, finding everybody else in the hallway where he had left them before.
His hair fell over his eyes and his bandages had been messily crammed into the pocket of his trousers. The bandages hung out from the edges, one even trailing along the ground after him.
He hadn't changed them since the captain shoved a first aid pack against his chest.
He still freshly recalled that slap to the face.
Vaxas kept his hands at his sides, and didn't even bother to clench his fists as they bled and shook.
Oh, what would everyone think of me?
What would Akiria think of me...?
He looked away from everyone else, keeping his gaze averted to the side where a blank wall was.

"...I'm back."
Vaxas tries to smile.
