The Marshlands

The Marshlands lie in between BrackenClan and SunClan territory. The climate is wet and swampy, so most Clan cats prefer to stay away, however it is not uncommon for bands of rogues to live here. No Clan has used this territory – it is too muddy to move around and 3/4 of the land is eaten up by a giant lake... or at least, no Clan had lived here until a rouge named Snow founded MarshClan.

Snake slowed down. He glanced at duskfury and beckoned her to slow down to. He stopped and shook out his pelt. "I think we will be safe here." he said. "its no clans' territory. But maybe we should move farther away, maybe make a permanent den for ypu to have the kits..." he mused.

[Wileyfangs]

Duskfury sat down beside him to catch her breath. "We need to rest here, the clans obviously don't want this territory plus its safer here. It should be okay," she mewed and then scratched her ear with a hind paw. "Besides it'd be mouse-brained to move now, the kits will be due any day now," she mewed wincing in pain.

[Bushidog]

Snake nodded, but he was concerned. "I really think we should find a safe spot for the kits to be born" he said. he leaned over and began groomong duskfury lovingly.

"Well alright," Duskfury mewed drowsily and licked his fur back. She cleaned his wounds gently and then buried her muzzle in his fur. She purred happily forgetting almost everything.

[Bushidog]

Snake purred and rubbed against Duskfury, grooming her slowly. but in the back of his mind he wondered anxiously where they would sleep tonight. The moon was allready rising and it would be hard to navigate through the thick, swampy marsh.

"How about this?" She asked as she pointed towards a large den like set. An old badger had probably made it but its scent was long gone now. "It's deserted now," she mewed.

[Bushidog]

Snake looked to where Duskfury had indicated. "That works out perfect!" he mewed. He shivered. "its sort of cold out tonight," he mewed. With his tail wrapped around Duskfury, he lead her towards the old badger set. "here, I'll try to fix it up real fast." snake dove into the den to see if they could sleep there and it looked, fine almost cozy, if you ignored the old badger smell. "You can come in," he meowed loudly for Duskfury to hear.

Duskfury padded insdie slowly and was actually impressed and amazed at Snake. "Wow, your good," she purred and licked his forehead softly. She quickly made nests for them and then nudged Snake in one. Then she layed by his side. "The other nest is for when the kits arrive," she explained.

"I can't wait..." Snake murmured, curling up close to Duskfury. "Our kits will be amzing, strong and just..perfect..." he mused. He yawned and though about his old disapointing mate and kits. He was so glad he had duskfury now....
