The nightmare has ended. But are we truly as strong as we once were?

A clan once feared, and ran through fear,
cowered before Thornstar. Thornstar ran the clan under his claws, his rules. He'd train kits young and his trusted would becomethe elites. They engorced his laws. Little did he know a young she cat he had groomed to be the highest of his elites and he planned for her to be his mate decided the fear was enough. She began training and gaining trust of those who feared their leader to rise up and take back their home. Now that they are free from the tyrant the clan fears it will either fall back into the fear or lose itself to the dangers outside.

Territory

Camp-
An island surrounded a stream. A log is how they exit and enter camp. Leaders den is a large bolder at the edge of the island that has a hole in it. The medicine den is a hollowed out space among the roots of a willow tree near the heart of camp. The warriors den is near the camp entrance made of reeds weaved together and dried mud reinforced with branches that fell from the willow tree. The Apprentices den is another Reed and mud made den reinforced willow branches near the warriors den. The nursery is made of tightly weaved willow branches reeds are weaved among them to keep out the weather. The elders den is made very similarly to the nursery. Both are located near the medicine den.


The forest-
Throughout the river that weaves through the territory the forest is quite lush in all but one area. The area is a small sandy pit near the river where warriors train their Apprentices to fight. Remember to always check before just going out into the area as two legs have been spotted there from time to time. They seemingly come from the small two leg place on the outskirts of the territory. Not often will you see kittypets or dogs but it can happen

The smaller tabby she cat exited her den with a yawn. She was thinking of who all should mentor each apprentice. She hummed softly. "Which warrior would benefit which apprentice," she asked herself a loud. Her tail curled as she thought

The tom gave a good stretch as he exited the warriors den. He awaited patrol orders from either Nightstar or Flamepelt. He looked around and spotted their leader but she was looking lost in thought

He blinked his eyes as he groaned not wanting to get up yet. He rolled onto his belly tucking his paws under him trying to doze back off. Not like the warriors had been assigned as their mentors yet.

The long legged apprentice trotted over to the fresh kill pile looking it over. She decided a Thrush near the top would suit Blizzardbreeze and the kits before picking it up and trotting towards the nursery. She looked in not wanting to wake them if they weren't already awake

MoonShadow stirred in her nest, the scent of dew and moss fresh in the air. Her sleek white fur was warm and comfortable beneath the covering of leaves in the warriors den, but the call of the day soon roused her.

With a stretch, she rose gracefully, her slender body arching as she yawned, her blue eyes blinking open to the waking world. The camp was still quiet, save for the soft murmur of the wind and the distant calls of birds. MoonShadow took a slow, deliberate breath, her senses sharpening as she prepared herself for the duties ahead.

Today, would be another busy one, but she was ready. Her heart beat steady with the rhythm of the forest, and she padded toward the fresh-kill pile, her mind already focused on the tasks of the day.

The quiet of the early morning suited him, the stillness offering a moment of peace before the day’s duties began. His eyes, sharp and cold like the frost that marked his name, opened slowly, taking in the familiar surroundings with practiced detachment.

Without a sound, he rose to his paws, shaking out his pelt and stretching his long limbs. He had no need for unnecessary chatter or idle thoughts—his focus was solely on the clan. The scent of fresh-kill lingered faintly, but he didn’t bother to eat yet; his first priority was to check the borders, ensuring that no threats had dared to breach their territory in the night. He however, knew better than to leave the camp unannounced. To await the morning duties assigned. So, for the time being he would watch his sleeping clan mates with a watchful eye.

She watched Flamepelt discuss something between Ravenflight and Maskedfur. She then turned to look at Nightfrost. She knew his detachment and how it was. She also considered that he could challenge certain apprentices that would need a step more. But he question was if he had enough patience.

Yawning the cream tabby padded out of the medicine cat's den, there was not much for him to do now as he kind of had anything he could need and more. His eyes looked to the deputy calling out for the warriors for the patrols and padded up to the leader "Good morning Nightstar, I hope you had a great rest last night" he meowed to her with a little stretch on his back legs "Is something bothering you?" he asked as he studied the she-cat.

He left the warrior's den and padded to the shadowed place near the elder's den as there was this great place to cool down a bit. He didn't really need to cool down as It was not that hot yet, but he kind of liked this part of the camp, especially when he could see anywhere there and the others could likely see him.

She woke up in a moment as the few others stepped out of the den, woking up her friend Swallowpaw who was also still at the den "Woke up, It's morning, maybe we will start our training today and have our new mentors" she called out of the female.

She flicked her ears as the Skypaw was calling out for her "What? She flicked her ears a bit as she heard someone stepping into the nursery and looked there to see who it was. She blinked her eyes a bit as she saw the Cheetahpaw bringing some prey "Good morning Cheetahpaw" she mowed to her as she stood up to sit down and looked at the younger she-cat.

She was awakened only annoying her still sleeping or trying to sleep brother. She kicked and bit to his ear a bit as she rolled around the nursery floor. Her ears perked up to the apprentice showing up to the nursery and she jumped up to ignore her brother for now "Is that to us or to them?" she meowed to the apprentice. As there was another queen with kits in the nursery and that was only one prey.

He tried to sleep, but his sister did it impossible, kicking and biting, but still he decided not to mind her as he thought she could get tired if she didn't get the attention she wanted from him. He sighed a bit when he felt Specklekit jumping up and stopping to bother him, blinking his eyes he looked over to the apprentice as his sister and mother were both talking to her.
