Tideclan was founded by three cats - Wavestar, Sandblossom and Tidefur.
They loved and worshipped the cat goddess of the ocean - Kaia. That meant that
they also loved and worshipped the ocean itself. Legends said that Kaia would
bless you if you entered the ocean exactly at midnight.

So that's what the three founders did. They waited until the sky was as dark as
they'd ever seen it and they stepped into the ocean.

Immediately, light started gathering around them, illuminating the shadowy night
so much that the founders thought the sun had risen already. And then, an aqua
spirit in the shape of a cat appeared in front of them.

"I am Kaia, goddess of the ocean." she said, smiling. "You are the bravest cats I
have seen in a long time. I now bless you and all the members that will join your
clan with little control over the ocean and ocean life, and the ability to breathe
underwater. Your cats will adore any form of water as well."

After Kaia said these words, she conjured a small wave and sent them back to
their camp. Now, all the cats of Tideclan honour Kaia more than ever, waiting
to see who will be the next to encounter this mystical goddess.

🌊 a cat may only have 3 kits and a cat may only have 2 siblings.
🌊 do not powerplay (meaning, no 'has more power than any cat' or 'is Kaia's kit' etc.)
🌊 do not post a form of an 'abandoned kit' - instead, it's parents could've gotten
yellowcough and gone to Kaia's Realm (the Tideclan equivalent of Starclan).
🌊 no huge drama (fx. instead of killing cats do natural death.) without letting me know.
🌊 be kind, no harassing/rudeness here.
🌊 please try to have the cat names be 'nature-y' or 'ocean themed' - just no non-serious
names, like 'oceantreasure' or 'leafygreen.
🌊 please no one-liners; try to write at least two/three.
🌊 try to make the genders measure out - it's not much fun if the majority of the roleplay
is females - try to keep them balanced! f.x 17 females, 16 males/20 males, 20 females..

🌊 why can my cat only have 3 kittens/2 sibling?
- this is to prevent the relos post getting too long; i mean, it wouldn't look very
nice if it said "name is siblings with name and name and name" or "name and
name's kits are name and name and name".
🌊 when does a moon pass?
- one moon passes after about what, six pages?
🌊 can I be my own mate/crush/mentor?
- no - you may interact with your own characters, but no mentoring or liking
your own characters. This is a no-go.
🌊 what season is it currently?
- when the roleplay begins, it will be newleaf!
🌊 when does a season pass?
- a season passes after 18 pages! So on page 1 it's newleaf. On page 18, it's
greenleaf, on page 36 it's leaf-fall, and on page 54 it's winter.
🌊 how will I know what season it is?
Once again, on page 1 it's newleaf. On page 18, it's greenleaf, on page 36
it's leaf-fall, and on page 54 it's winter. And no need to worry, I will update
the territory page with the season every time it changes! <3

Sunpaw turned in her sleep, almost falling off her moss bed. She woke up
just before she could tumble off. Whoops! she thought and got up.

Sunpaw checked her fur. No annoying visitors like fleas, good. She cleaned
it a bit, making the fur that was sticking out as flat as the rest of her fur.
She wondered what Sandstripe had planned for her today! The possibilities
were endless.

Shoresplash woke up in a strange pose. His feet were above his head, and
he was sleeping on his back! Is this how you always sleep? someone could
have asked if anyone had seen him. Luckily, no one had..

At least, Shoresplash was pretty sure about that. He quickly turned around,
so he was laying on his belly. Shoresplash got up and looked around. Some
warriors were still sleeping.. should he wake them up?

Sandstripe awoke with a happy smile and a stretch. The sun was already rising, so she was ready to start the day! She got up, and noticed Shoresplash already awake. "Hi!" she meowed in greeting. Her own voice was probably enough to wake anyone up- and it often did. She wasn't exactly the most quiet warrior. "Today is going to be a great day, I just know it!" she turned to leave the den- the only thing stopping her was waiting for a reply.

Gentle light pushed it’s way into his eyes as he blinked awake. He rolled onto his stomach and got to his paws, stretching the sleep from his limbs. His paws hit the ground silently as he made his way out of the warriors den. The sea breeze washed over him and he closed his eyes, enjoying the feeling. He felt like it would be a good day. He padded over to the edge of the water and looked out, admiring its beauty.

Pearlfeather walked leisurely along the beach enjoying the ocean breeze. She loved to take a walk early in the morning along the beach, which helped relax her and helped her get ready to face the day. Pearlfeather sat down her with her front paws being hit by the waves, looking out on the ocean, and sighed contentedly.
