Horizonclan is a clan rich with traditions and spiritual energy. For generations they lived in the prairie land in peace. However, a rogue group learned of the easy life that Horizonclan shared on the prairie and wanted a piece of it. The leader of the clan refused to allow any rogues into the clan, only allowing clan born cats to stay with them. This enraged the rogues... through the paririe and across a river is a thick pine forest. This is where they decided to create Wildclan, a clan without strict rules and welcome to any cat despite their blood.

Wildclan will not forget their grudge against Horizonclan and see fit to get back at them anyway, between steal prey or taking over their territory as well. Can Horizonclan keep to their peaceful ways or will they have to fight a war to keep what is theirs?

Territory

Horizonclan

They live on a lush prairie with many rabbit tunnels that some smaller warriors could fit into around the territory. The camp is an open area with a bramble den for the nursery and elder's den. The medicine den is a hollowed out log near the back of the camp. In the middle is where the leader and deputy nest together with all the warrior and apprentices. The clan keeps their nests together in the middle to protect each other and keep a closeness. Only queens, kits, and elders sleep in bramble dens to keep them away from any cold weather. To the east along the river there are a circle of rocks called High Rocks. There are often snakes and lizards around there, only brave warriors hunt for the snakes. Their territory is split by the slow moving creek between them and Wildclan's new territroy. For prey, they mainly hunt rabbits and birds with their very strong hind legs. There are also fat ground hogs that any warrior would be proud to be able to catch.

Wildclan

They live in a dense pine forest. The soil is very rocky, often finding sharp rocks mixed in. The creek separating their border with Horizionclan splits into their own territory. The creek leads past a cave where the clan camps out. There are nests around the cave where cats sleep wherever they please. The healer stays in the deepest of the cave where they can store the herbs. In the middle of the cave is a tall, flat rock where the leader nests and holds meetings. To the south of their cave in the forest is a clearing called Hawk's Opening where the cats will train their skills. They will often hunt squirrels and mice around the territory, some cats learning to fish in the creek for some small catches. There's stories of wild deer in the forest and a master hunter who can take them down.

The tom stretched his back out, yawning. His large nest was lined with some pine nettles and pine cones, enjoying the comforting smell of his territory. He took a small step towards the edge of his rock, glancing around at some sleeping cats scattered around the cave. Deciding not to wake everyone yet for a hunting party, Buck leaped down from his nest. He slipped out to the exit of the cave, taking a few quiet moments to enjoy the sounds of the thick forest he grew to love.

Meadowpaw kept her eyes shut, hoping to catch some more sleep before Silentstar or Cloudspot start throwing together patrols for the morning and tonight. She shuffled her paws, bringing them closer to her body. She was glad that the weather was starting to get a bit nicer, but she could never get use to the colder night air compared to when she was sleeping in the nursery. She quickly took a peek around to see if anyone else was waking up yet.

indentation Grumbling as he sorted through a small pile of dock, the tom muttered constantly under his breath. With a frown, he used a single claw to stab a leaf before sneering. The leaf was beginning to rot, and the brightly colored tom knew it was due to a failure on his part, or possibly Eve's. Huffing as he discarded it, he began his search for bad leaves anew. This may take a while, he mused, before glancing out of the darkness of the very back of the cave. For a heartbeat, he thought he should go out and interact with his clan-mates for a bit, maybe see if Buck needed anything. Ember ultimately decided against it, and returned to his sorting, eyes narrowed as he focused on the task at paw. His long fluffy tail lay curled around a bundle of damaged or useless herbs that were to be discarded.

indentation Arian blearily blinked the sleep out of her eyes, silently wishing that she could get more sleep. Unfortunately for her, once she was up, it was near impossible for Arian to get back up. Tail curling with distaste as she heaved herself up, the molly turned her gaze towards the sun. She glared at it for a moment before huffing and began to look around for either Buck or the clan's deputy. Though both cats scents seemed fresh, she couldn't seem to see them from her vantage point. Well there goes my chance to flirt before we get down to business. She thought with a sigh. Shaking her head, the pretty torbie started to head out of the cave to sun herself a bit before the hard work began.

indentation It was odd for Paleflight to awake after dawn, but he hadn't gotten to sleep until later than usual the night before. So he wasn't too miffed about missing the first rays of sunrise. His blue-gray gaze snapped up to the sky as he forced a shiver down, as his short tail gave a few lashes. The tom hoped that he'd be able to get assigned to a border patrol, he didn't trust this new so-called clan. Wildclan, he thought with a huff and narrowed eyes. Just a bunch of unblooded maggot-brained pieces of crowfood imitating us to try and seem strong. The tom mused with a sneer, as he sat down a few steps from the entrance of the warrior's den. As he sat there the silvery tabby wondered what he was gonna do with his apprentice today and started to mentally make plans.

After a few moments of deliberation, they eventually headed out of camp and continued onto their way to where Shadowkit and Nightkit were buried. Now as the sun was beginning to rise, they realized that they would have to get back to camp soon. They expected Splashpaw would be awake for training soon enough, and maybe Cloudspot would assign them to a patrol. Either way, it was fine with them, Duskecho often enjoyed going on as many patrols as they could. Humming thoughtfully as they got up, they started to make their way back to camp."See ya later little ones. Say hello to mother for me." They murmured as they padded away.

xxxxxBrindlenose trotted along the border with a few stems of celandine carefully clamped between her jaws, pleased to have found the plant on her way to her intended destination. She had left camp quite early, eager to collect some burdock as she had seen a good patch growing a few days prior and the stock at camp had begun to look depleted. The small medicine cat let out a satisfied purr once the sun rose in the sky, painting the tall grasses with it's golden light and bringing her much needed warmth as she travelled beside the creek. The crisp air of the morning and the gentle sounds of the slow moving water always brought her a wonderful feeling of peace.

xxxxxAfter quite a bit of walking, she finally spotted the familiar bell-shaped flowers of burdock up ahead and excitedly picked up her pace with a bounce to her step. Brindlenose crouched down to examine the plant and after a brief assessment and nod of the head, set down the celandine and began carefully digging into the damp earth. It wasn't long before she exposed it's thick, healthy roots. These look fantastic! Much better than the last harvest... That's for sure. she thought to herself , making quick work of chewing the roots free. Once she felt she'd gathered enough, she divided the stock into two small piles and was about to pick one up, but found her gaze travelling to the other side of the creek. It had been a while since she'd last seen anything of the Wildclan leader, Buck, wondering how he was doing. She'd grown very fond of the talks they used to share and for a moment found herself hoping to see the large tabby tom emerge from the woods. Focus. the shecat reminded herself, shaking her head and looking back down at the work she had done.

Yawning the white tom stretched his legs and walked out of the leader's den. His odd-colored eyes looked the clearing, his eyes stopping to the elder's den, a little bit still missing to see how his parents always hung together there, even if their death happened many moons ago. He still missed his family, he didn't have anyone left for him anymore. Sighing he shook his head to break his dark thoughts, he needed to focus on his clan now, he was the leader now.

She got out of the warrior's den shaking her long pale pelt as she looked up to the sky. It sure was a beautiful day, she thought to herself, before turning to look around the clearing pleased to see her daughter Lavednerpaw there and it seemed that Foxpaw was up too. Her eyes turned to Silentstar, who seemed very sad at first, but then turned to his usual self. She turned to look for the deputy now, who could likely do the morning patrols soon, but so far the she-cat was nowhere to be seen.

She was up early but stayed at her nest for a long time before deciding to get out of the den. Her ears flicked as she watched the cleaning, sitting down near the apprentice's den, not seeing her mentor Stagheart yet, but it didn't bother her at all. Her ears flicked behind her when she started to hear movements happening at the den's entrance seeing her lazy brother walking out and
then the figure of Meadowpaw "Good morning Meadowpaw? slept well?" she asked the apprentice.

He woke up earlier than he usually did and he didn't feel like sleeping anymore. He left the apprentice's den only a few steps behind his sister Lavenderpaw, giving her a quick glare before sitting down, side of the apprentice's den. He gave a few licks to his paws and washed his face before taking a better look around the camp and saw his mentor Paleflight there too. He stood up and walked to the warrior "Hello...any plans for today? Or do early to ask?" he meowed, knowing that the pale warrior liked to do plans.

Cloudspot awoke and stretched, yawning widely and sighing as she smiled, looking around camp with a goofy smile. Unlike her for sure to be so silly with her expressions. Cloudspot trotted over to the warriors' den and called forth the morning patrol members, "Paleflight, Hazelnut, and Stagheart, I'd like you three to head out for the morning." She ordered them calmly, leaving and heading over to the prey pile to ensure they all had enough for a quick breakfast, which she concluded they did.

Splashpaw yawned, tired from training the day before. He saw Meadowpaw and grinned, "G'morning!" He mewed happily, despite still being a bit tired, "How'd you sleep?" He asked, shifting in his nest to the right to be able to face her.

Stretching in the morning glow she scented the sweet, warm smell of prey. A mouse lay sniffling around in the dewy morning light, most likely scavenging for food. Robin licked her maw and crouched, stalking the little creature until she was only a few paw steps away from it, pouncing swiftly and taking it down.
