It was a peaceful night. Snowthorn was sat outside
of the warriors den, eyes partially closed as she watched
the sky. A rustle sounded nearby. Her eyes opened, and she
watched as a cat slunk over to her, blinking. 'Oh, hello.'
Snowthorn spoke first, nodding to the other cat warmly.
'Hello, Snowthorn. Would you mind coming for a walk with
me? I have some time to kill.'
Snowthorn nodded, and the two cats left camp, walking
in silence, until they reached the fast flowing river.
'I wonder...' the killer said. 'How long a deputy can hold
their breath for?' The comment was made passingly, however
it threw Snowthorn for a loop. 'Wh... What?' The killer calmly
turned to the deputy, and got to their paws. Snowthorn got
her claws out, eyes narrowed. 'Are you okay?'
'Yes! In fact, this is perfect.' The cat smiled softly. They leapt.
Snowthorn watched their moves and tried to get out of the way,
but was bowled over. The killer slashed at Snowthorn, who
was clawing back, trying to escape. After a small scuffle,
the killer was heaving, but successful. Snowthorn's limp body
floated down the river, eyes wide with panic and the lack
of oxygen.
The killer cleaned themself up, and padded back to camp.
Your deputy and a witness is dead! Good luck, ThunderClan!

rabbitfoot woke up early to search for some herbs. he decided not to wake jaybird and let her sleep in. as he gathered herbs by the river, he saw a limp body in the water. he swam out and pulled the deputy out to the shore. he attempted to bring her back, but he realized that it was too late - she was with starclan now. he closed her eyes with a short prayer to starclan, then gently grabbed her by the back of her neck. tears pooled in his eyes as he began to drag her body back to camp.
