Congrats ThunderClan, you found the murder and Cottontail and Swiftstrike are welcomed back to ThunderClan!” Speckledpelt was guard, Palestar was witness. Taking a deep breath, he got back onto High Rock, hoping this would be the final time he had to do this. Calling for a meeting, he glanced down at Wolfpaw. “I would like to make Wolfpaw a warrior, before we have our vote to exile the murder of Pebbleseek. I, Palestar, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this apprentice. He has trained hard to understand the ways of your noble code and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn,” he meowed, meeting the apprentice in the middle of the clearing. “Wolfpaw, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan, even at the cost of your life?” he asked, turning his gaze to the apprentice.
“I do!” Wolfpaw meowed, tail flicking in excitement.
“Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. From this moment on you’ll be known as Wolfsong, and ThunderClan welcomes you as a full warrior of ThunderClan!” he called out, resting his head on the newly made warrior’s head, backing away soon after.
After the chants had died down, he sighed before glancing out at his clan. “Honestly, we don’t even have to vote, I’ve heard of who the majority of you suspect who killed Pebbleseek,” he meowed, turning to glance at Loonpaw. “Anything to say Loonpaw?” he asked, recognizing the fur he saw when Darkeye was crushed by the branch and the fur that was left behind by Pebbleseek’s body. It is him, the leader thought, fur fluffing out in realization.
Loonpaw's eyes narrowed, then widened in realization. "You... Mouse-dung, I should have killed you! You must have been the cat I saw in the distance, when I disposed of your stupid deputy- ...But I did what I had to do. ThunderClan is weak! You couldn't even save my parents!" the new apprentice meowed.
Palestar looked over at the clan, realizing Loonpaw was right. “Your right Loonpaw,” Palestar replied. “We did try to save them, but we couldn’t,” the leader meowed. “Either way your broke the code as the warrior code states we don’t kill in cold blood, unless we are defending our territory,” he meowed, glancing over at Sootmask. “Would you like to help me escort Loonpaw out?” he asked, heading over to the apprentice. The tom queen nodded and went to the other side of the kit he had raised after Loonpaw’s parents had died. Nudging the apprentice forward, Palestar and Sootmask walked Loonpaw over to the RiverClan border. “I’m sorry to see an apprentice go, but we can’t have you killing our clan,” Palestar meowed, seeing a RiverClan patrol come towards the border. “Go see if RiverClan will accept a murderer like you,” Palestar spit at the apprentice, eyes glaring at Loonpaw.
Loonpaw scowled and glanced back at the two cats. "If I ever show mercy to a ThunderClanner again… it would be you, Scoot." he said, then blushed and added with a growl, "But don't expect me not to teach the rest of you a lesson the next time we meet in battle.
With that, the murderer stalked off into the distance towards the RiverClan patrol, explaining what had just happened and how he was exiled wrongly for the murders in ThunderClan. The patrol brought him back to RiverClan camp, where he became an apprentice there.
