"As it is my job to ensure that you, a fighter, don't mess with my apprentice like that," Toko said this as calmly as he could, but he too was puffing up, obviously ticked at this smart-mouthed dog. "Watch yourself Demon," he continued, all in the same monotone voice, "I understand that there are challenging times going on, but that doesn't give you the right to let out your frustration in violence, or by attempting to take charge. There is one wolf in charge here, and that is Ayet. Don't you forget it," He couldn't help it, and the last line came out as a snarl. Then Toko turned to pad away, his tail parallel to the ground and stiff in anger.

Demon snarled. "Then teach your smart mouthed apprentice to respect, older, stronger wolves. It is only in my right to make him submit! And since you are such a lousy teacher then i had to do it myself!" he growled watching the wolf's turned back. His eye twitching in anger as he imagined sinking his fangs into the beta's scruff and yanking the dog into submission.

"Who.. do you... think... you... ARE?!?" Toko snarled through gritted teeth, turning to face the challenge. "Torka deserves more respect than you ever will, regardless of his age," The beta continued, standing up and getting in a stance ready to fight. He had been a fighter before moving up to beta, so he knew what he was doing. "You're a lousy excuse for a wolf, you could never be a part of the pack," he spat, knowing that he was pushing it as far as he could.

Torka, up on his hill, could see his mentor - his Beta, - and the fighter arguing. He pulled back his ears and leaned over the hill, watching intently. "Please don't turn into anything serious.." He said aloud, mumbling as he slowly, cautiously, padded down and crouched in the grass. Now, he was 3 metres from Demon, and 4 metres from Toko. 'If anything starts, you can't interfere. Thats the rule.' He told himself mentally. '...I hate rules.'

Demon's tail rose higher accepting the challenge for the fight. "I was once a father! And i know if any of my sons behaved like that mangy pup i would roll them into submission twice over! Have you ever been a father? Beta! Have you ever lost everything you held to your heart! Well i tell you one thing, if you don't control you 'apprentice' then someone else will! Eather that or a wolf that will not settle with simply making a pup submit will rip him away like the demons did to my family..." Demon's started out aggressive and deadly but slowly turned into hearty, caring words of love and regret. "Because whatyou teach that pup now he will remember for the rest of his life," Demon mumbled slowly. His tail falling along with his head, as tears slowly crept into his eyes. "You could only dream of the fealings i felt when i lost my family..." he whined, backing away he vanished into the shadows.

Cuan could here something. She walked up to see wolves snarling at each other. She stood still for a while, watching, before shouting "Stop! This is madness. How will you survive together if you are always bickering like this?"

[Dogs Can Bark]

Ayet heard the howl, and snapping out of his lost and confused feelings, ran to help. Finding himself looking at a black wolf, her belly obviously full with pups, because the rest of her was very skinny. Narrowing his eyes, he tilted his head, and walked a bit closer, so he was barely a foot away from the female. "Are you okay, miss? Is there anything wrong? You sounded... hurt." He asked, glad to have the distraction from the decision he must make soon.

Cylista glanced up at the male wolf, with hearing his caring words convinced her not to bolt away. She could tell he had already noticed her pregnancy, and was quite scared being faced with another male wolf who may be just the same as the rest she had ever met. The she-wolf stood up, taking a bit of a step back before nearly falling back to the ground. "Some... beast... was chasing me." She said in her hushed, accented voice. Cylista's nares flared, smelling the scent of blood. She glanced at the male infront of her, suspecting it might as well have been him. But she turned around only to see a bit of a red glimmer on her black coat. The question that he asked echoed in her head, she considered telling a lie, but just couldn't. "The beast attacked me, sir."

"Ah, I see... We call them demons in our pack. Have you seen one before? And are you hurt? In my pack we have a few wolves that would be able to heal some of your wounds, if you'd like." Ayet offered, still a little worried that it would not be smart to bring her to their camp, with Chee there... He was really in trouble now. He felt as if he could not let Chee stay; if she turned there were at least four weaker wolves that could easily be killed in a battle. He would have to make the decision when he got back to camp...

"I have heard of them, yes, but never seen one. Thank-you for the offer, I do have a few wounds that might need to be looked at." Cylista said, feeling as if she needed to give something in return. She looked at him, wondering what he might possibly need in return. The she-wolf saw a bit of distress in his eyes. Her vocals began once again, "I hope not intrude as to ask if you might tell me what is on your mind, as you seem a bit troubled. I may be able to help, whether it to mediate or just get it off your conscience." The she wolf shook her head soon after, "If you would not like to share that is quite alright."
