"Well, names in the clan change, kits have the suffix -kit until they are 6 moons and become apprentices earning the suffix -paw. The first part of their names are chosen by their mothers. And six moons more they become warriors, getting a suffix of the leader's choice, something that resembles them, like if they are a medicine cat skilled with herbs, the medicine cat would give them -leaf. Or a warrior with good fighting would get, -claw." Explained Spiritstar, "Leaders get -star, for example, I am Spiritstar."

Flurry had to contain his shock as this she-cat announced she was the leader. She was a she-cat! Not some big strong Tom! Things like that certainly never happened with the rogue groups he had encountered. " Well then, would I be a warrior?" He asked.
