Silentphoenix

Silentphoenix broke off from the group and headed towards the barn, hiding herself in the woods. She found a slab of wood and picked it up with her tail. She climbed up a tree behind the barn using the method she'd learned from Larksong in the dark forest. At least I can thank you for that. After she'd gotten high enough on the tree she jumped off, landing neatly on her feet on top of the barn's roof. She placed the slab of wood lightly down in front of her. She unsheathed one of her claws and attempted to carve a message into the wood, no, too feint. She unsheathed her claws and brought them down on a nearby bird, killing it. She tried again to carve her message into the wood, filling it in with the bird's blood. She wrote her message, Beware of Ashlight, stay safe. A phoenix has risen. and brought the wood slab near the edge of the roof, dropping it near the door. Oh I hope that makes a sound she thought to herself. She picked up her prey in her mouth and ran off of the roof and into the forest. She'd landed neatly on her feet on the ground with the barn behind her. A flash of bright red caught her eye. Deathberries.

I turned as I heard a voice from the entrance "Happypaw? How did you find us?"

Happypaw giggled "it was easy, i was just looking for the most depressed rundown place i could find!" she gave a smile as she looked down at a rat as it scurried by

Larksong:

I growled "Leave Happypaw, before we make you" I heard a thump at the barn door and looked over. I trotted over and saw a plank of wood. When I flipped it over with my paw and saw a message covered in bird blood. It said 'Beware of Ashlight, stay safe. A phoenix has risen' and behind the smell of bird and wood, I found the unmistakable scent of Silentpaw. I called out to her "Silentpaw! Silentpaw, I know you're there! What does this mean?!"

Silentphoenix

Silentphoenix was unaware of Larksong's calls. She sighed, flicking her ears. This was a hard thing for Silentphoenix to do, but she had to do it. She had to make sure Larksong knew. She took a branch of deathberries from the deathberry bush, and went to go find the other medicine cats without looking back.

I sighed as I heard no answering call and turned back to Happypaw. "Get out, now!" I snarled. Parry walked out from the shadows and unsheathed his claws; glaring at the aprentice
