The two apprentices continued to roll, toppling over one another with great strength, practising the very same skills they had learnt in their training. "Get off of me!!" The fierce, orange figure growled at his brother as he was pinned to the ground. "Not until she give up..." Came his reply, more calm then most cats thought possible. "I would do it if you asked me to!" He spat, "Nonsense,"came a new voice, normally soft, though now rough with a stern sense on amusement. "Firepaw, you would do no such thing..." She murmured with a sigh, though making sure that her voice would be heard. Angered by his sister's laughter, and having convinced himself that he would, Firepaw hissed, and patted at Rootpaw's soft underbelly with sheathed paws, hoping that his strength would push him off. Rootpaw stumbled to the side, and just as he managed to re-gain his balance, Firepaw was already back on his paws, springing himself towards his brother. Rootpaw landed with a thud on the cool earth, a soft grunt escape his maw. Russetpaw's eyes glinted with amusement, and she let out a mrrow of laughter, "Oh Rootpaw, how the tables have turned..."
~|Shatteredstep|She-Cat| Medicine Cat|Apprentice: None|Pool Stones|~
The small She-Cat remained hidden amongst the trees, hunting. Not for food, but for the delicate existence of her precious herbs. Since a fire blazed through Sun Clan's territory only moons ago, the forest was only beginning to replenish itself, including the clan's dearly missed, medicine cat supplies. So far the Medicine Cat had managed to gather a few Juniper berries, wrapped in the own leaves (which would also be used), and a few Dock leaves. She had left the roots behind so that they were able to grow back, though made sure to take in the environment surrounding it. The soft trickle of the nearby stream, stretching between both Dawn and Sun Clan's territories, was faint, though made louder as she padded closer to the stream in search for a rest, her bundles of herbs secured in her tightly clamped jaws. As she reached the Pool Stones, the large grey land mark sitting just by the streams side, happily greeting the water as it swirled around it's surface. Her eyes widened in surprise to see both siblings, Emberflame and Moonfang, out here with the same idea as her own, to rest. She hadn't notice their presence through the strong scent of her herbs, disguising her friend's scent. She pushed through the bracken, greeting the two with a simple nod of her head, and then padded up onto the stones, carefully avoiding the small stream around their base. Once she had reached them, she placed the herbs by her paws and began with a proper greeting. "Hello Emberflame," Her voice was as soft as silk, filled with a sense of warmth and compassion, "Moonfang," She continued, shifting her gaze to rest on the tom. "Where were you this morning? It's not like to miss a meeting." She purred, slight amusement entering her tone.
