On the surface Cassia can seem rather... odd. She tends to drift off when people talk to her, become distracted after a while, stop paying attention. She tries to avoid conversation as much as possible. She hates it when people start inquiring about her life, and tries to shift the subject as much as possible and give as vague an answer as she can. She prefers to be alone as much as possible and though she is normally quite placid she tends to snap when she feels someone is harassing her.
Cassia has had her share of problems, and feels her life should be private, something known only to her, so she feels people are prying when they ask the most innocent of questions. She can get very possessive, especially when it comes to things related to her past or when it comes to her paintings. She needs a lot of personal space, and can become downright furious if it is not accorded to her. Deep down she feels very lonely but she's afraid to forge any true friendships because friendship involves sharing your problems and worries with others, and she's afraid her friends will take them lightly and tell everybody or tease her about them, and she feels uncomfortable with the idea of someone knowing enough about her to be able to manipulate her.
Cassia is usually cool and distant, trying to keep herself dispassionate and level-headed. She's learnt how to close off her emotions and shove them away into a corner of her heart, yet even she is subject to sea dragon mood swings. She usually varys from calm and placid to being ready to fly into a rage and kill someone, but she also spends a lot of time upset or moody or scared.
You do not want to see Cassia angry. When Cassia gets angry all the things she's kept locked away inside her burst out, and she her temper explodes. Expect her to try to kill you. She'll probably get a hold of herself before she actually succeeds but if you're not careful Cassia's rages can be very dangerous. Usually they'll be gone as quickly as they came, and she'll go back to calm and serene before you know what's happened. Anything too personal can trigger them, ad so can not leaving her alone when she make it clear she wants you to. Her hints that she wants you to go can be quite subtle, and though she thiks she's making her point extremely obvious you might not realise until she reaches her breaking point, and woe betide you if you fail to back off on time.
Cassia wants solitude, yet at the same time she wants someone to confide in, someone she can trust. Give her the latter, and you could not ask for a more loyal friend, so long as you return her loyality and never, EVER betray her trust.

Dragon's Talents:
Cassia is a very skilled artist, using her tail as a paint-brush. It's one of the few ways she's found of expressing herself, and she will not let ANYONE she wouldn't trust with her life view her paintings. They're a part of her, and a part she holds very close. She works in extrordinary detail, counting the exact number of leaves on that tree, the exact point where the waves break... she mostly draws nature, in a way that reflects her mood. If she's feeling sad or angry she'll paint clouds that are dark or stormy. If she's feeling loose and free she's paint leaves floating in the breeze. Sometimes she destroys her paintings so no-one else can see them.
She is also a fast and graceful swimmer or flyer, and enjoys soaring through either air or water when she feels like it.

Dragon's Strengths:
She is very fast and agile, and can use her tale like a whip to knock you down. Despite not being the strongest of dragons, she possesses reasonable muscle and knows how to be deadly in a fight. She is good at being sneaky and silent, staying in the shadows.
Dragon's Weaknesses:
She is not fully in control of her temper and can lash out in a rage at the most inoportune moment possible. She also tends to become terrified in most life-or-death situations, and has a crippling phobia of fire, which was used to murder her family. Though she's strong enough she can be easily overpowered once she loses her self-confidence and her control starts to slip.
Dragon's Eye Color:
Cassia's eyes are a hard silver, almost impossible to read. They are flecked orange, and tend to shine almost red when she is angered. When in the right lighting they can easily look terrifying. They can fix you with an unflinching stare until you look away, one of the signs that she's getting very angry very soon.
Dragon's Scale Color:
Though her scales change colour like those of any other sea dragon they are usually light in colour, and tend towards a surreal silvery-blue hue. They ripple green in time with the waves, making it easy for her to camouflage and stay hidden when she doesn't want to be seen. They ripple darker colours when she's angry.

Cassia is shorter than most sea ponies, only six feet tall, and has a long, supple body. She doesn't weigh much, only 950 pounds approximately.

Cassia is easy to overlook when first scanning - she looks just like the water around her, only slightly lighter in color. You can spot her by the sunlight gleaming off her scales or the fact that the water around her ripples around her scales. The ripples of green on her scales that appear whenever she moves are one of her most distinctive features, besides her eyes, and can reflect her mood by slowing down and becoming thicker when she's feeling melancholy, or almost shivering when she's about to burst in anger. They can be quite... distracting, and mesmerising enough that it's hard to look away. They are her one way of expressing herself that she has no control over, so even when she looks calm and serene they can give her away.

She has no aunts on her father's side and one uncle on her mother's side who she barely knew. She also had a much younger cousin who she was very fond of but who died as a hatchling when she was eaten by an orca.
Other/Dragon's History:
Cassia was taught her responsabilities as a queen from a very early age, and always took them very seriously. Back then she used to be quite open and loving, very different from the way she is now.
Then, one day, her father failed to return from a hunting trip. Other dragons reported he had been killed by a dragon slayer, so she, her mother and her brother went into hiding in a cave by the sea. Cassia was tasked with going hunting and bringing back prey but one day she saw two armed men approaching the cave her family had taken refuge in. She wanted to attack them but was too frightened so she flattened herself against a rock and hoped her scales would camouflage her. They did, so the men passed her by and entered the cave. They were carrying torches. When she gathered the courage to leave her hiding spot all she found was the charred corpses of her mother and brother.
Cassia will stop at nothing to avenge them. She has never told anyone who she didn't absolutely have to about this and if anyone asks they will soon be begging for a quick death by the time she's done with them.
