Otterpaw started to creep forward as voices told him not to mess up. Once he was close enough, he leapt onto the rabbit, digging his claws into it's shoulders and biting it's neck. Otterpaw picked it up proudly and turned to Scarlectwhisper.

Scarlet had actually managed to doze off for a moment once the black she-cat had left earlier. Storm and Dawn were behaving, and had passed out beside her. Though, the long furred queen felt the need to stretch her legs. Perhaps the leader will let me have a look around... She thinks to herself before slowly getting to her paws and slips out of the den without her kits so much as stirring. The poor fluffballs were just as exhausted as she was. Slipping from the den, Scarlet blinks to the light, before catching the same black and white she-cat from before. Steeling her nerves, she approaches the leader. "Erm... would it be fine if i looked around the territory?" she asks, shuffling a paw in the dirt as she was rather unsure as to how exactly to talk with her

"Thank you," The fluffy brown Tom smiled. He put the rabbit down and covered it with leaves and dirt so nothing would take it while they hunted for more prey.

Featherstar was gazing around camp, looking for cats to hunt with her when she saw Scarlet approach. The shecat wanted to see the territory? She flicked her ears, looking at Scarlet curiously. "Well, I was just about to go hunt. I figure I can show you around then maybe see how well you hunt." She meowed softly, not unkind. "Have you hunted before?" Featherstar knew little of the queen's past.

Flamekit padded through the forest, looking around and exploring.

Crimson looked around, unsure of what to do. He couldn't follow Scarlet. Fur slightly bristled from his nerves, the young tom padded over to some bushes and layed down, resting below it.

Moonpaw nodded and padded over to another tree and marked it like Claytail showed her then looked out into the forest. She looked for enemy cats then purred softly. "You know, this is actually nice."

Claytail smiled as they kept walking. "It generally is pretty peaceful out here..." He replied, looking around. "But you have to try to not relax... If you do you could get attacked." He looked at the apprentice and smiled."You'll find yourself relaxing at times, thats why cats don't patrol by themselves."

Scarlet relaxed slightly at her offer, before nodding once. "Alright! And my mate taught me how," she mews in response. A thought crosses her mind, and she instantly feels slightly embarrassed again. "And...whats your name? I don't think you ever said it before..." She asks, hoping she hadn't just forgot already in the excitement of whats been happening.

Featherstar looked shocked when Scarlet had to ask her name. "Oh, Flint didn't tell you when he led you here?" She meowed. "I'm Featherstar. Tomorrow we can go around and introduce you to everycat if you wish."

Moonpaw giggled and looked at her mentor thoughtfully. "Besides, being alone on a patrol is a bad idea no matter what! One cat defend themselves very well against more than one cat! Maybe two if they are really tough!" She meowed "Like you!" She giggled.

"Flint...?" Scarlet questioned with a faint tilt to her head, before realizing that must have been the young tom from before. "Oh him. He really just went ahead. Someone else pointed the direction," she mewed back, remembering not to mention the name of the young cat. "Though that sounds wonderful! Thank you Featherstar," she mewed in return. She was looking forward to showing the leader that she could belong in the forest given the chance

Claytail smiled. "I'm not sure I could fight off two cats..." He sighed. "I wish I could, but that would be remarkable when I can only see one of them at a time." He grinned. "It is more to keep each other company and keep each other listening." he peered into the woods.
