Brindlefur's due bristled when she was told and with a grumpy look," You can stay in my den tonight and most likely the rest of the time till I can convince Sparkstar to lift the ban, but you will have to tell me why you were banned.." The Medicine cat never understood her leader and wish a swish of her tail she motioned for the she-cat to follow her as she moved towards her den.

Yellowfang lay in a nest in the medicine cat's den, he had been running a small fever for awhile. His ears perked up when he heard Brindlefur's light foot falls coming towards the den. With a grunt he rolled over so he could see who she was bringing to the den this time.

Her tail was still shaking. "She said I am not a true warrior since I am a kittypet, and the warriros den is only for warriors." She looked at yellowfang. Her eyes full of sadness. "Wait... tumblekit." She murmured running out and grabbing the kit.

Brindlefur frowned at her words and shook her head," Warrior or True warrior or not... You belong to the clan, and if our leader wont help you then I will, it is my duty as medicine cat to make sure everyone stays healthy, Now put that kit in a nest and you might as well stay with it." She gave her head a nod as she bustled towards her herb stores.

The tom's ears caught what the she-cat had said and frowned," You have a warrior name though! How are you not a true warrior?" A cough wracked the cats chest and he watched as she bolted out of the den and came back with a kit and he got up from his nest and moved towards them slowly and licks the she-cats ear..

Brindlefur listened to the two with interest and gave a soft purr in her chest, she had waited a long while for Yellowfang to come out of his shell and talk to the she-cat or any she-cat for that matter. She would listen though as she looked about her stock.

Yellowfang nodded," Let her calm down from the events that had happened and maybe she will see that you are a good warrior," He looked down at Tumblekit," How is this little one doing?" He was interested in the welfare of the kit and the she-cat in front of him...

The kit snored soundly. "He is good. Turning 6 moons in 6 sunhighs" she purred unknowing that Yellowfang liked her.

He gave her a smile and nosed the kit," Why don't you two come find a nest? Brindlefur wont mind as she said and you can stay in here as long as you like." He hoped he was stepping out of bounds with the medicine cat and looked towards the herb store room before looking back to Silverdawn," I have something to tell you before someone else does, but I will let you get Tumblekit into a nest before I do." He was alittle nervous he wanted to tell her how much he liked her since she had come to the clan and sighed softly.
