Cinderfoot slowly snuck up infront of the vole, after Hollowcry gave her nod she waited a few heartbeats before she began violently stomping her paws around and let out a small yowl till the vole scurried into Hollowcry's direction, she unsheathed her claws in-case the vole ran back towards her or any other direction

"Hawkfire, Stonepaw, we're going on a patrol, get your pelts over here!" he yowled, expecting the 2 cats to hear him.

A bit taken aback by his offer, she couldn't think of the right words to say. He wanted her to collect herbs with him? It was similar to a dream come true... Applepaw, you shouldn't think that. she scolded herself inside of her head, but she couldn't hep but think it. "Uh, that would be great. Thanks." she flashed him a quick smile to make up for her awkwardness, which didn't happen around just any cat. "Alright, let's get going then. The Clan depends on you!" she almost wanted to say 'us' but she thought otherwise of it the moment the thought popped into her head. She couldn't wait to discover what it was like to be medicine cat apprentice, and what herbs they would need to collect. Sure, she knew a bit when it came to herbs, but not much. All she really knew were a few herbs such as poppy seeds, marigold, and cobwebs. To learn more about specific herbs would be a great opportunity, despite the fact that she was an apprentice in training to become a warrior. Still, that kind of information could indeed come in handy someday, such as the aftermath of a battle or fight between outsiders.

'' okay. '' he smiled, happy that she would come with him. '' comfrey is an oddly shaped flower that's pink or purple. we have to dig it out and take it's roots. feverfew has a yellow center and white petals. cobwebs are easy to find, and i'm guessing you know what it looks like. poppies are red flowers and take it's seeds in the center. '' he would remind her if she needed to remember again. he remembered when he first became an apprentice, he got confused with heather nectar and comfrey. it was a bit strange, as one sweetens things and one repairs broken bones and wrenched claws.

reedjaw took a breath, once more taking in the nature around him and filling his senses to the brim with his home territory before being torn away from it by the gnawing hunger in his stomach. he perked his ears towards the female, hearing her words he nodded solemnly, "of course." he meowed and stopped at the edge of the stream, he looked down at his paws seeing a toad that had just buried itself in the mud to avoid his detection. he raised his broad head to look back towards his companion and noticed that she has crossed the stream. he decided to follow her though the wetness he felt as he stepped through the cold water made him highly uncomfortable. he lifted himself out of the water on the other side with fur puffed up due to the cold that had seeped under his fur. he looked towards the molly with discomfort and an embarrassed smile on his face.

snowpaw nodded her head and waved her tail high and waved it back and forth. she perked her ears towards whitewater a she addressed them both. she dipped her head and looked at silverpaw nodding towards the entrance. she then bounded lightly over towards the entrance to camp, her sleek long white fur made her look elegant and graceful as she ran. she stopped just before she hit the barrier wall and making a fool of herself.

stonepaw flicked his ears back as he heard breezefrost's harsh call, "why breezefrost.." he hissed under his breath before trotting quickly towards the large warrior, he was afraid of getting cuffed around the ears by the tom cats large paws so he did his best to be respectful while inside his blood boiled. his fine grey fur laid on his back calmly as he looked at the senior warrior, he stood ready to go and dipped his head to him.

hollowcry held her breath as both of them went dead still, she was afraid of scaring the prey before the time came. she could hear her own heart beating heavy in her chest and the blood rushing through her veins. her eyes narrowed on the voles fluffy body and before she knew it was running towards her in a mad scurry. her claws then unsheathed and she leaped out from under the brush, her claws catching the small creator and her fangs delivered the death blow to the prey. it went limp in her mouth and she stood up her tail waving as she turned to look back at cinderfoot with a deep purr of satisfaction.

minnowpaw rolled out of her nest, her late night outing was not a smart idea. she was just curious about the owls nest she had seen earlier yesterday but now her paws drug on the floor and her eye lids were heavy but she knew she had to get up. her tail dragged as she pushed through the den entrance. her eyes looked around hazily, she froze and felt her stomach drop as she saw her mentor and what looked to be a patrol about to head out of camp. today could not get any worse for the small tabby molly.

the lengthy warrior war relaxing in the shade of camp, his long black body extended in the shadows. his rusted eyes looked over everyone in the camp, he was wondering if his name would be called for patrols today but he thought wrong. his tongue flicked over his long thick whiskers as his orbs flicked from cat to cat. he noticed breezefrost's distaste for being chosen for a patrol today, minnowpaw's sulking figure coming from the apprentice's den after her late night travels to a owl hollow. he was often the one to know everything going on in camp, as he tended to be all ears and very little voice. his long tail flicked over his legs and he took and breath and relaxed himself against the cool ground.

Applepaw was a bit surprised that they didn't have to ask his mentor for permission, or perhaps they did have to, but he chose not to. Whatever it was, Applepaw didn't really mind the slightest bit. She listened carefully as he listed descriptions of each of the herbs, trying to take in all of the information at once. Would she be able to even remember one of them, let alone all? It seemed impossible, and Applepaw wondered how he had managed to learn all of that. Then again he probably thinks the same with hunting and fighting techniques... probably, at least. she thought to herself and gave a nod of her head. "Alright, I'll try my best to remember that again... Just do me a favor and repeat it all slowly?" she laughed softly, then added, "Just kidding." to assure him that he didn't have to repeat anything. She then headed out of camp and into the forest, wondering where their paws would take them first. Applepaw didn't know was where these herbs were located, for all she knew they could be right in front of her.

"Alright, Breezefrost, where are we going?" He mused to the sour-attituded tom. Breezefrost seemed to always be in a foul mood for no particular reason other than to be foul.

"You don't like water?" She mewed to the tom with a light smile, it seemed the water had been uncomfortable when it had made him wet. Pebblestream loved it on the otherhand, her mentor had taught her how to swim and she had taught any apprentices she had how to swim as well. Nightpaw was unwilling though, ungrateful she would more say.
Pebblestream's jaws were open, and scents were flooding into her maw. The strongest one was Reedjaw who stood a few pawsteps away from her. Pebblestream was picking up many scents of small, scurrying animals, who came to the water to drink, there were some that were stronger and some weaker. Her eyes spotted no prey but soon rested on a rabbit that was near the edge of the brush. She bumped Reedjaw with her shoulder and threw her head towards the rabbit's way. Reedjaw was closer and could probably catch the rabbit quicker than her.
