Daisypup heard the pups and smiled, her tail wagging in excitement. “Aw they are adorable!” She said, wanting to sniff the pups, but she decided Fallensnow should take care of them. “They look healthy to me.” She added.

Emberstorm watched as Eaglepaw killed the rabbit and smiled at his excited question. "Probably. Let's keep going." She glanced up at the sky. "We should hurry. It's getting dark soon. How about we split up? We'll cover more of the forest that way. Meet back here in a while?"

Eaglepaw wagged his thin brown tail, and began sniffing the air, trying to detect another rabbit. Hmmm... nothing yet! Hearing Emberstorm suggest splitting up, the young apprentice watched his mentor, Duskpelt. Splitting up did sound like a good idea, but what about him? Would he split up too, or go with one of the adult dogs. Eaglepaw couldn't have cared less about that decision. The chocolate lab was extremely cheerful, and would do whatever his packmates decided.

He stepped away from the mother and her pups, sighing in relief when anything got just fine, of course, there could still happen something with the pups, but so far so good.

She took a few deep breaths to calm down then turned to see and wash her pups. There was three of them, one male and two females "hmm...I needs to name them? Do you want to help me Daisypup?" she said looking at the older pup.

“You want my help naming your pups? Wow. Hmmm why don’t we call this little guy Smallpup, and maybe one of the girls Lilypup? I’ll let you name the other. You are their mom after all.” Daisypup walked over to the pups and gently nuzzled and licked them.

He followed Emberstorm and Eaglepaw back to the territory and when Emberstorm said they should split up he buried his squirrel and went to find more prey. After sniffing around he found a rabbit, he was excited as he didn't find many rabbits in his wanderings. He slowly crept up on it then pounced, the rabbit heard him but it was too late and it's life was ended by a swift bite to the neck.

Soon enough the small tapping of the pups echoed through the den. Willowstep gently picked them up one by one, transferring them into a warm soft resting place before coming back over to help Fallensnow walk over. ”they’re beautiful, and here aren’t any complications with them or you, so congratulations, I’ll go grab you a few more herbs to numb the swelling pain and then you can lie with the pups all you want” she smiled, looking at Ashpaw and Daisypup, ”thank you two for your great helpl she nodded, leaving to grab the herb bundle. She padded back softly and quietly dropping it at her paws before smiling, walking over to her own mossy bed to watch over them.

He flacked his tail after the words Willowstep told him "It sure did go well, I was little afraid at first, but luckily anyone got just fine" he said to her, looking the three pups there.

She nodded to Willowstep "thank you Willowstep, Ashapw, the pups are perfect and healthy, that's all that matters for now" she said licking her newborn pups. She thought for the names Daisypup offered "they're cute names, but I was thinking something different...like a..." she said thinking, watching each pup. She started to think her former mate as all of them looked to be that breed mostly "Plumpup? Branchp...Woodpup...no Treepup? and then there is this one...Oreopup" she called out still very unsure, but they did sound cool.

After everything Fallensnow had been through, The young pup wanted to stay close to Fallensnow in case she needed anything. “Are you hungry, Fallensnow? Would you like something to eat?” She asked quietly so as to not disturb the pups. They looked so cute. “Thanks Willowstep. I’m just glad everything went well and the pups are alright.” She turned to Fallensnow “Those names sound great. How about Plumpup,Treepup and Oreopup?”

Duskpelt couldn’t help but feel impatient with Emberstorm for being so quick to answer Eaglepaw. She cleared her throat, her eyes slightly narrowed, ”Splitting up sounds fine-I was going to suggest it. However there may be more predators so for your own safety, pair up. I’ll take Eaglepaw, and you’ll take Nightpaw” she said, her voice heavy for some reason as she looked at her, ”Take the west side of our territory, Eaglepaw and I will take the East, there are more thrushes and squirrels so hopefully you have enough energy” she presumed, before turning, heading opposite of them towards the east side of the mountain. Hopefully Eaglepaw followed, ”as for us, I saw how you were good with catching the rabbit, you’ve got speed, and luckily there are more rabbits and even deer on our side”
