Wolfblaze smiled and looked back. Then he walked forward and whispered,"We shouldn't go too far out of camp. I think prey will be running good today." and smiled. Then he padded forward again senting around as he walked.

Featherclaw turned around and mewed,"There's a hawk just ahead of us. I think it's eatting a mouse, so we could try catching it?" with ditermination in her yellow eyes.

wingpaw smiled and nodded "we should that would be able to feed two cats" she mewed sweetly

Featherclaw shook her head and whispered,"That would be able to feed half the clan! That things so big!" and smiled at her apprentice. She looked back at Ashfang and asked,"What do you think?" in a hopeful tone.

wingpaw smiled and looked at the hawk in amazement "that thing is huge!" she mewed

Featherclaw nodded and mewed,"Lets go for it while we still have the chance. I need you, Wingkit, to distract it. Just go in front of it and get its attention. Then I'll jump on its back and Ashfang will help me kill it. Then we'll drag it back to camp and feast!" and smiled with a lick of her lips.

wingpaw nodded she jumped in front of the hawk and the haw lunged at her talons full out

Featherclaw thought, Not yet! Then in sort of a fast panic she ran out and jumped onto the hawks back. It flung backwards trying to shake her off. She bit into the hawk and thought, Got to get to the neck!

wingpaw pounced on the hawk and bit its neck hard hoping to kill it

The hawk turned it's neck knocking Wingpaw off. Featherclaw growled,"Stay away from her!" and jumped around it's wing. It tryed taking off, but Featherclaw was faster. She bit into the hawks neck, with her bigger jaws, and it struggled around flailing it's wings and talons. It finally snapped it's own neck and fell to the ground on top of Featherclaw. Featherclaws whole body was covered by the hawks and unmoveing under its waight.
