Drexel
Drexel knew they were uncomfortable. He liked that. He liked that they didn't know who was watching him... or reading their minds. Drexel wanted to laugh as he found out the Seawing was taunting them. He knew Rowan, well, not exactly. He had read her mind once before, and knew that she enjoyed taunting people from under the water. He watched the pair of dragons as they thought about diving into the water. He tried to imagine a Skywing swimming under water, and almost burst out in a fit of chuckles.

Rowan
After making all the rude gestures she knew of, she dove deeper into the water, so deep that they could only make out a faint glow. They hadn't interested her so it was simple that they weren't of well... interest. She swam along the lake floor, her sleek body wriggling like a snake. Then, an idea dawned. She began pumping herself up to the surface as fast as she possibly could, which was incredibly fast and took about half a second. Rowan burst out of the water and flew 50 feet into the air, and did a backflip, then dove back into the water with a magnificent splash, which was sure to hit the dragons. She grinned to herself as she returned to the lake floor, imagining their stunned faces.

The water landed on the two like an exploding bomb. Crimson braced herself, closing an eye and turning her head to the side. Imagine just stood there, and when the water came, he was drenched. He spit out the extra water and batted the falling droplets away in anger. Crimson clenched her teeth, but then her face softened. "Imagine, it knows we're here. It's taunting us. Just act like nothing happened." Imagine obeyed. He didn't think that doing nothing was going to help, but silently, unconsciously, he agreed. He noticed that it was easy to agree with Crimson. She was logical, but not in an annoying way.

Rowan
Rowan's nose wrinkled in disgust. They hadn't even reacted. She flicked her tail angrily as she watched them at the bottom of the lake. She must get a reaction out of them. Rowan hated being ignored. Snarling, she swam to the lake, and poked her head out. She glared at them, and them swam around tauntingly, just out of their reach, as if daring them to follow her into the icy depths.

Drexel
Drexel's eyes widened with surprise as Rowan poked her head out. He read her mind, and saw that she was angry because they weren't giving her enough attention. He rolled his eyes. Typical Rowan, he thought to himself with amusement. It was weird, acting like he knew these dragons like they we're his best friend. Technically, he did, he thought with satisfaction. And that was enough. He didn't have enough courage to actually approach someone.

Imagine bit his lip with his slightly dull teeth. Clearly he was having trouble not jumping into the water, but he turned around, dismissing the Seawing, and it was fine. Crimson joined him in turning around and stared into his eyes, which were hazel, since he wasn't staring at her. He looked at his feet nervously.

Rowan
She flicked her tail in annoyance. "Fine, ignore me. But your missing a chance of a lifetime by not talking to me. I never come to the surface." She snarled, and then got ready to dive back under.

Drexel
He couldn't help it. He had to say something. He knew those dragons were missing a chance of a lifetime. "She's not lying, you know." His quiet voice echoed from the shadows, so they couldn't tell where it was coming from.

Imagine and Crimson cringed at the same time. "Told ya someone was watching us." she said. Imagine just stood silent. "By the way, odd voice," she yelled in several directions. "Who are you? And how the heck would talking to a dragon that gave us a middle talon be 'the chance of a lifetime'?"

"Well, maybe not a chance of a lifetime. But she only really comes up to the surface about, well, every 10 years. You've really caught her attention." He said softly. Maybe it hadn't been such a good idea.

Rowan
Rowan snorted. "Whatever." She dove back into the water.

Crimson cringed at the sound. "Show yourself!" she said, swirling herself to try to figure out where the sound came from. Imagine kept staring at the outcropping. "I've read about Nightwings in the scrolls... They hide in shadows! I bet it's a Nightwing!" he exclaimed, but then resorted back to his awkward smile. Crimson nodded. "Yeah." she said. Why is it so easy to agree with him? she wondered. Then, she squinted and stretched her eyes to look at the outcropping. She saw nothing. "See, Crimson? There!" Imagine whispered. It appeared to Crimson like Imagine was dragging air as he pulled out the dragon by his talon. "Who are you?" he asked.

Drexel
Snarling, he tried to scratch the dragon that had given away his hiding place. "My doings are none of your business, Imagine and Crimson! Leave me alone!" He roared furiously. He began scrambling up the rock. Crimson made him nervous. Skywings breathed fire, right? And Drexel hated fire, even though his own kind were quite familiar with it.

Rowan sulked right beneath the surface. So what if it was a Nightwing? She was so much cooler then all of them.
