He could understand why she had reacted in such a way, she had been away for a while as it seemed and it was always hard coming back to things that had changed. Hell, the day he came home to find that his dad has trader his best dog for a sub-par tractor engine was probably the most frustrated and upset he had been in his young life. Change could be difficult and he understood that. Ronan offered a smile "You're alright, I don't know how far you've travelled but I know what it makes me like." he replied in hopes of lightening the mood, "I should get back to work." he sighed as he glanced over his should at the filly he left in the round pen. Once he returned to the round pen, Ronan caught the young Quarter horse and saddled her up before sending her back out on the circle. He asked for all three paces in both directions before allowing her to come back in, her muscles flinching under his soft touch on her shoulder "You're right little girl." he cooed softly before grabbing his bridle off the fence. It was a mystery to him, where this mare had come from. She was a different sort to the others he was working with and part of his suspected that she had a different sire, her temperament and build were of concern but no one would believe him. "Good." he praised as he slipped the bridle on and pulled a piece of carrot out of his front pocket. Sometimes positive rewards helped with nervous animals, and although this one was surprisingly good about her head, it reassured a positive experience. Ronan softly mounted the mare, allowing her to think for a moment before flexing her head around to his right, only raising his head when he heard the same voice from before. He offered a smile "About three weeks, she's touch and sound sensitive but surprisingly brave under saddle." he informed as he let her head out and flexed her to the left "I'm supposed to name her but I don't have any ideas yet."
