Ｈｅｒｄ ｏｆ Ｂｒｉｇｈｔ Ｓｕｎｒｉｓｅ

The bay stallion plodded along the river, using the north star as his guide. Last night he dreamt of his mother in the Herd of Night Sky. She had told him to follow the brightest star in the sky to a place where he would find other herds gathered together. He had been puzzled at first as to why herds would gather, but she explained that it was good for them to meet so alliances could be formed and news could be shared. And so the stallion set out as soon as the north star showed itself. Eventually he came to a large clearing with a huge slab of stone near the back. It was the place his mother had showed him in his dream, but no one was here yet. Oak began to pace anxiously. Had he taken a wrong turn? Where was everyone?

Everest stood between Bale and Cristal, watching a bay stallion as he entered the clearing. "I guess Mandara was right." The stallion said to Bale and Cristal. "Well, let's go greet him." Everest turned and galloped into the clearing, his deputy and scout following close behind.

The stallion didn't slow his pace until he reached the bay stallion. "I am Everest, leader of the Herd of Echoes. This is my deputy, Bale,
and my scout, Cristal."

Trotting along with his head held high, Apollo headed his way toward the gathering. He certainly hoped he wasn't late, or barging in in the middle of it all - he highly doubted that. Still it worried him like he always worried about everything. All through his life, Apollo has always been a worrisome stallion. He'd worry about this and that, what was happening, if he was late. Most times it served as a downside, but sometimes it was a good thing he was always worried. It's keep him on alert, ready if something were to pop up behind him and attack. On several occasions he was nearly pounced on by a silent wolf, but his cautiousness helped him fend himself off in time so her wasn't harmed.
But suddenly, all of his worries washed away as he stepped into the gathering area to find it was still nearly empty - beside two stallions, one who paced alone. Letting out a calm neigh to make his presence known, the stallion trotted toward the bay and the other stallion with two others at his side. He was here to make alliances, and hopefully few enemies. So he quickly put on his friendliest, charming smile and approached the others.

Tundra trotted in with Commando. Glancing sround, the two stallions looked at each other. "Go find some others to talk to," he murmured, as he went to wards who seems to be keaders.

Gusty Wilds
Ildefonso

Ildefonso used the stars as his guides. He refused to believe it was prophecy - what was prophecy other than crypticisms and vagueness? And surely something so clear in his head couldn't be either of those - but something deep in his gut was telling him that he was meant to come here. His herd was just himself at the moment, which in a way had its benefits; when he got a whim to do something, he could easily act upon it, without any of the mess and hassle of having to work out logistics.Though it was rather lonely.
Ilde strode proudly into the area, and knew in his heart he'd arrived in the right place, even though he'd seemed to set out into nowhere at all. There were only a few horses there, but clearly enough that this had to be important; Ilde trotted over towards where there were a group of what he assumed to be fellow leaders. "Hola, friends, I am Ildefonso. It is good to see other leaders, but do you know why we are here?"
Ilde was a little uncertain of why himself. Maybe his gut had been bringing him here to meet these horses specifically. The only reason Ilde could think of was that they had known each other in a previous life, but that seemed unlikely to have meant they were born so far apart, and that there was already a good number of them. Something else, then.

Ｈｅｒｄ ｏｆ Ｂｒｉｇｈｔ Ｓｕｎｒｉｓｅ

Having been consumed by his thoughts, Oak spooked a bit when the stallion galloped up to him and introduced himself. The bay quickly quickly recovered and took a deep breath before responding calmly, "Hello. I'm Oak - Shadowed Oak, that is - and I am the leader of the Herd of Bright Sunrise. As you can see, it's quite a small herd...." he trailed off. A neigh caught his attention, and he greeted the fellow leader with a dip of his head, before turning to another stallion approaching. Oak's heartbeat quickened with excitement, relieved that he had come to the right place after all. To the newcomer's query, he spoke up, "To exchange news and form alliances, I assume."

The stallion's smile seemingly widened as more leaders from all over the area came through into the gathering. They seemed to all be gathering around the one bay, so he decided to just head there. As for the mares, Apollo decided to steer clear of them all. He didn't went to cause any ruckus with their stallion. "Greetings everyone." He said gently, sending each of the stallions a curt nod. He then stood aside, his ears flicking to each of the stallions as they introduced themselves and made small talk with each other. Apollo decided to just keep quiet and allow everyone the time to converse.

Everest greeted the other stallions happily, introducing himself to each new leader. "It is nice to meet you all." The dark brown stallion said, bowing his head slightly out of respect. "My herd only recently formed. We have three more in our herd, but one of them is our healer and she chose to stay behind to keep an eye on our only mother and her newborn foal." Pride swelled in Everest's chest at the thought of Dauphine, his newborn filly.

"Do any of you live near the mountains?" He asked, nodding his head towards the peaks in the distance. "My herd lives at the bottom of them in a valley."

Bale nudged Cristal away. "Go talk to others. Make friends." He laughed. The brown and white appaloosa snorted at Bale before trotting off, flicking his snout with her tail. He smiled after her before shaking his head, looking for someone new to talk to.

Cristal snorted at Bale, flicking his snout with her tail before trotting off across the clearing. The scout looked around at the gathering horses, feeling a pit start to form in her stomach.

"Am I the only mare here?" She mumbled to herself.
