This roleplay takes place at a horse sanctuary and rescue in a rural part of the Big Island. They accept all kinds of horses; the elderly, the disabled, the wounded, and the healing. Some end up being permanent residents while others recuperate and find new homes. Palm Trees and Hoofbeats Sanctuary offers ten acres of Hawaii's finest land for the horses to roam. There are two shelters, one located in the middle where staff usually feed the horses, and the far left which is nearer to the sea. There is a stable with individual stalls for those who need them, it's outside the pasture and a short distance from the staff house. The staff are a wonderful bunch of volunteers and care for every horse's every need. Here, no one is forgotten..

*No power-playing please
*This is a semi-lit roleplay, so it'd be appreciated if you'd try and write a paragraph for every post
*You may have as many characters as you wish, but only as long as you can handle it
*No stallions. The rescue would more than likely castrate any they'd taken in.
*Horses, donkeys, mules, and maybe even the occasional zebra are welcome !
*Keep things realistic, no rainbow ponies or horses above 19hhs
*And have fun!
